The Elves Grow Weak

*puts an anonymous note he dictated but did not write beside the bulletin*

Elves have to consider things in the long run. Our long lives have given us the ability to look at things from a very critical point of view. The elves are called weak but you do not consider that perhaps the elves look at things different and know that it is better to not rush into these things. By staying out of many things we have made our own nation a place of piece. As Ambros said, we will be where everyone comes to in the end. Laurelin will most likely be the place where the last stand takes place. So, before more insult Laurelin perhaps they should consider that it is this "weak" place that will provide them their final refuge.

*Having stumbled upon the argument again, Rannulf shows his responses verbally* ((Not sure if these are notes or people talking, please correct me.))

*Rannulf sits down underneath a cactus, the spines pricking his tough skin, but not hurting him all that much, and listens to the conversation. Ready to put his input.*

((As stated in the first post, all replies are used at a default of you basically speaking into the note, if you choose to have everyone see you must emote something along the lines of writes into it like loop did))

((As the Elves grow in age they become more weaker would be an example))

*Pins a short note on the board, not caring to take time in writing it, as he usually would do*

Elves have always been perceived as weak. At the height of the war in the North we were ostracized for not sending soldiers from our already dwindled population away to die.

But who is weak here? At least we have not broken into two and war with ourselves over nothing.

*Sees the note and sighs muttering to himself

That's what this is about.. We have broken into war with ourselves...

((I have seen nothing more than words about this alleged 'war'. As far as I'm concerned it doesn't exist, because the concept is preposterous.))

I don't believe we have. If anyone is crying war with another elf, it is not any upon the Council or any that support the council.

Only rebels that wish to take the freedom others have... no, a rebellion would imply that our government is tyrannous, which it is not. We give much more freedom then any other nation in Aegis.

If we were weak, the bandits assaulting Laurelin would not have fled. I admit that I was not the best to lead against that affront and that is why I handed over the responsibility to Bircalin and Haelphon. Almost immediately the bandits fled. Assaults and other unlawfulness have also dropped considerably by that decision.

We are stronger then we have ever been. Other nations now come to Malinor seeking the wisdom of our council. We are aiding our allies and making new friends. I am also in the process of overseeing a construction of a road directly to Kal'Urgan in order to open more trade with our allies and friends there.

It is a good time to be a child of Malin. This was long overdue.

((Wait a minute. Why do you bother posting if its just a self-thought? Wouldn't that mean you are effectively spreading your views, but people cant argue back because they were just "in your head"?

Rather unfair if you ask me.))

-Syrila pins a note on the Galahar and Laurelin Messageboard-

"I was there at that battle, but I was ordered by the hochmeister to remain neutral. I watched from the treetops, looking for any wounded to take out of sight to fix up, but one of the galaharian's took me by surprise when they unloaded NINE arrows on me. I dragged myself from Galahar to Konigsberg, where I was fixed up and looked after for a few weeks.

As an elf, I say I saw plenty allies there, but all the Galaharians saw when they saw me healing the wounded was an enemy, I hold no grudge against them, but the scars are a reminder of this battle I never took place in, nine arrows pointlessly placed in my back and shoulder."
