The Druids Depart

*You find a slight burnt piece of parchment lying on the King's Road. You pick it up, curious.*

People of Malinor,

If you have stopped by the grove lately, you will know that the druids have abandoned it. We have left Malinor far behind, and the likely hood of us returning is very slim. We are sorry that we have left Malinor during a time of need, but we sensed the great disturbance that was quickly overtaking the land. It was being corrupted, and there was nothing we could do to help, so do not blame us for leaving.

With that being said, we have been relocated in a new grove. We will continue following our ways, and as long as we live on, as will nature. We are also the same druids that we were before, so we will help any man or woman who comes to us in need, if they can find us.

If you need to contact us, we left a cage of birds in the grove. Send one to us with a message. It will know where to go.

Yours truly,

The Druidic Order

Sighs a bit and says "I had hoped to learn some things from them...maybe another time." Walks on through towards the forest where he lives.

Oh well... I sense a high probability of dicussions if the ArchDruid wants to stay in the Council...

This is not surprising. The longer they stayed, the more their numbers thinned. At least two or three of them had jumped to their deaths a few weeks ago. I am unsure if this is related to the taint they speak of.

It is probably for the best. The council and the druids rarely saw eye to eye and their presence in Malinor while staying aloof grated on that relationship even more.

This way neither side has a reason to interfere with the other. And we can continue our paths without being underfoot of the other. I wish them well in their endeavors. I only hope that the few friends I count among the druids are not rare to be seen by this departure.
