What has driven your town to become a larger nation? or Why is this settlement choosing to become a nation?

On arrival to the new lands Brayden saw that there was major struggle and need for help. With Brayden’s prior wealth he saw necessary to help those within need, donating food and his own hand in pulling people off their knees. He was then accompliced by Caspian Rahl and Waldo Burrows who thought that Brayden had the correct mindset. The three banded together to help those in need. It was then when they met with a group of incredible warriors, led by a person named Maximus Brutus Marainus, they named themselves The Palatinus or The Paladins. He had said that the only way to truly change the wealth and well-being of those around you is to escape and create your own utopia. It needed to be across the seas only reachable by boat. Luckily enough, Brayden had great connections with an old friend, Drae’on Wyvernos who had recently planned to have start a sea-based trading company. It wouldn’t be hard for him to ferry them back and forth from the land they seeked. It was then that Empyreal was established by three founding father the Human Brayden Roze, who would construct the capital Artemisia, the Human, Caspian Rahl and the D’hara Company would establish the town of D’Hara and the Halfling Waldo Burrows who will till the first soils of Nymphaea.

How active has your town been in the world? What history and events have occurred in your town? or What do you see this nation growing to become?

The big picture is for it to become a land of friends and family. A mixture of advancement and relaxation for any one who wishes to stay within. Advancement in the sense, that it will be ever in development. A nation which will forever evolve into something greater then that it previously was. Relaxation in the sense that anyone may choose to lay back and ignore the drama that is the outside world. The tranquil forests, scenic mountains and flowering plains are great locations for anyone to escape the real world and relax alongside nature.

How will your town evolve to adapt to this growth?

Slow, yet perfected, development of the establishment of each town will progress over the next course of time. Trade and travel routes will be constructed going from each location which will happen once the required materials are met. This goes with saying the same as everything else; If the nation doesn’t have the required materials, they will either be gathered or bought from outside nations. The nation will look to every citizen to help meet such requirements. Those trained in farming, will provide food for others. The hunters, will help protecting those few, that require to work longer hours, from the beasts of the night. As would the leaders, help with development of nation; planning, overseeing and laboring as anyone else would.

Other Details:

Empyreal is a Nation of three peaceful settlements focusing on economic and social advancement rather than military dominance and territorial expansion. Empyreal is a landmass away from most other nations, as the only form of transport to and from the nation is by boat or a long swim. We aim to have boats available at major coastal establishments that will be able to take you to our great nation for a small fee.

Empyreal's name originates from the word Empyrean which is a phrase meaning "In or on the fire". This translation promotes the Empyrean citizens look to the Sun as a greater being. Unlike Aeriel and Iblees, they do not expect the Sun as to be a protector or destroyer. They do not expect the Sun to take mortal form and affect our day to day life. However they do see the good that the Sun brings to the land of Aegis. The Sun influences life. Allowing our plants to grow and animals to mature. Fending off the night beasts during the day. The citizens of Empyrean pay tribute to the Sun in many various ways, such as sacrificial animal feasts and bonfire moonlight festivals. (More information on these events will be provided when explaining the bonfire courtyard and Solarmancer Altar, two locations of interest within the nation)

Governmental Structure

Within Empyreal, the leadership is split into two nation-wide council. The Magnus Senate’s and the Demitto Senate’s.

Magnus Senate’s

Magnus Senate’s: made up of the Royal Princeps Dynasty's, Domino Palatinus, Legal Quaestor, Magnus Legatus, Supremus Basileus, Arch Solarmancer

The Magnus Senate’s are a group positions within the Nation of Empyreal of which they control and alter for the best of the citizens and the nation. They are not considered the nation leaders, but instead the guiders and defenders of the nation instead. They guide the people and Dux of each settlement on what they believe is best

The positions of Legal Quaestor, Magnus Legatus and Sepremus Basileus are voted in by the Demitto Senate’s. Once the Demitto Senate’s is full, members of which may elect themselves to become these position. Depending on who has majority vote, will be granted the aimed position for the next season. The vote will be then carried out again with the new Demittio Senate’s. The Royal Princeps Dynasty’s position are filled by the founder of each settlement within the Nation. If the founder was to pass away, they would have in written form who would be the next for this position. The new title holder must be of the same bloodline as the previous member. The positions of Domino Palatinus and Arch Solarmancer are fixed positions. Only on rare occasions will something rise that requires a new member to take this role, (ei; Death, Corruption) which would be dealt with at the time of occurrence.

The Royal Princeps Dynasty’s are the family's of the three founders. The leader of each family is considered the head of the family and will be promoted to attend each meeting concerning the Magnus Senate’s. If the current head of the family wishes to resign from their position, they may appoint one of there own blood in replacement.

The Domino Palatinus is the leader of the Palatinus. The Palatinus a group of respected warriors that help defend and protect our beautiful nation of Empyreal. The Domino Palatinus will advise and act to organise the Palatinus and citizen militia groups. They will advise the Magnus Senate’s on how to act during times of battles, if the time raises, and help keep the peace within the nation.

The Legal Quaestor is incharge of trade and nationwide spending of resources and minas. It is their duty to make sure that there is beneficial consumption and production of both incoming and outgoing resources. This may be between nation settlements or between nations. The will advise the Magnus Senate's in how and what resources need to be allocated between what establishments or constructions.

The Magnus Legatus, is the social advisor and foreign representative within Empyreal. The citizen here will be incharge of the relations between each racial and class level within the nation and external groups, guilds and nations out of our Empyreal. They will advise the Magnus Senate’s on internal matters, (ei; Conflicts between certain households, establishment of internal guilds). They will discuss and establish connections with external maters with the other Magnus Senate’s (Ei; Trade Agreements, Alliances)

The Supremus Basileus is the head representative of Law within Empyreal. The citizen within this position possesses both judicial and executive powers. He is the only citizen that may order someone to death within the nation on behalf of the nation.

The Arch Solarmancer is the leader of the Solarmancers. The Solarmancers are a group of magisters that study and devote life to the greater object that all citizens of Empyreal, of which is the Sun. (More information on the Solarmancers will be provided when explaining the Solarmancer Altar, a location of interest within the nation). The Arch Solarmancer will speak on behalf of magic/religious affairs within the kingdom.

Demitto Senate’s

Demitto Senate’s is made up of 9-30 restricted to the amount of citizens the nation has voted by the citizenry .

There job is to view citizen complaints , ideas and discuss hardships and propositions and make laws.

Though they have to run laws and major things by the Magnus Senate to be accepted.

Demitto Senate’s are dissolved and re-established after every season. These are rotationally picked citizen of a certain decided criteria. Being hopefully evenly spread between those that live in any of the three establishments, the Demitto Senate’s will be able to attend to all issues from any part of the nation.

Town Name: Artemisia

Why are you/your character starting this town? What role will it play?

Brayden’s reason mimics the reason he aimed to start the nation. He aims to establish an area of his governance that he can remain in peace within. Resting for his rest of his life, he aims to give his family to come a place of refuge which they may succeed and prosper within.

What type of political system is enforced in this town? Is this town under the reign of any other nation at this time?

The political system within Artemisia, is the same as the overall nations.

Following the rules and guidelines supported by both Senate’s.

What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.)

Peace and Tranquility. These two words summaries the town’s behavior. It being the capital, we hope for it to be a great location for people to come two for adventuring trips and times of relaxation. The same as the nation, it is welcoming to all races and shall not patronize anyone. Alot like the other two towns, Artemisia, will not accept poor quality behavior from both citizen and visitor, the punishment for portraying such act will depend on the person. This is decided by the current Demitto Senate’s at the time.

Where would you prefer the town’s region be? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map).

Artemisia is foreseen sat on a coastal pine forest. The large cliff faces and forest give it a great natural defensive perk. The thick pine forest will be maintained and respected, being sure not to take too much and not return it.

Any other details (architecture, races, culture, etc):

Artemisia,The capital, is a grand and luxurious coastal city that sits on the 'epicenter' of the nation.. Travel within the city is easy, each road end has a main road connected which will allow easy navigation to hotspots such as the markets, docks and gardens.Being a coastal city, Artemisia is well known for it for its trade, it being an ideal for it to have a harbor, also then bringing both business and leisure visitors. Key exports of such will be pine log and various wooden craftsmanship. Fishing within Artemisia is considered a great hobby, the sea waters are full of various breeds and colours of sea-life.

Architecture within Artemisia is very exaggerated. Brayden had always been surrounded by many architects and artists through his life, It only made sense that he would ask for the very best. Using alot of materials from the land around Artemisia and a mixture of imports from other nations, the city’s structures wont be just the bare minimum to survive.

A point of interest within Artemisia is the Bonfire Courtyard. This courtyard is a great local catch up point for any tourist and Empyrean. Located in the centre of the courtyard is a large stockpile of petrified pine wood logs. Every year, during the week after the nation was founded, the logs are lit during the night in celebration. A festival is held during the nights and a grand feast held on the final night. This is Empyreal’s salute to the sun, showing our respect and grace to our life granter.

Another is the Solarmancer Altar which is a location within the Solarmancer Tranquility Gardens. A place publicly open to any tourist, commoner and above. The alter is used to pray to Invictus, the Sun, giving the Solarmancers and Paladins strength and guidance. To respect Invictus tourists, commoners and citizens are require to keep silent while within the Gardens and may donate various tributes that will be given to those in need.

Town Name: D’hara

Why are you/your character starting this town? What role will it play?

Caspian And the D'haran Company have joined up with Brayden Roze in hopes to settle a new and distant land. Caspian hopes to found a town where every person can live in freedom

The D’haran Company was founded By Caspian Rahl (Shadowninji). Caspian’s goal when he founded the company was to get together an elite group of men, elves, orcs and dwarves to courageously venture into unknown regions and bravely explore mysterious new lands. Caspian hired all sorts of people to join the company, blacksmiths, farmers, lumberjacks, architects, builders, laborers, merchants, tailors and miners were all hired. To protect their way of life, Caspian knew they would have to be able to defend themselves against bandits, thieves, and other evils trying to stop their goals. Caspian made an order within the company that ever member must study the art of combat and become a master of their chosen path.

What type of political system is enforced in this town? Is this town under the reign of any other nation at this time?

The town of D’Hara will have a Communal Democratic Dictatorship. A new leader will be chosen every Season / 8 years (30 days Real life)

The Leader will choose one council member for every 5 citizens. The leader must choose wisely as this council has the power to impeach him and veto any decisions or laws he makes.

The Leader must follow the common law and all laws set by precedence before his term of service.

The dictator may call for a vote to change laws but must have a unanimous vote from his council.

The Council positions will be,

Chief Marshal - Head of Justice and town defense.

Master Keeper - Head of labor and supply requisition.

Peoples Emissary - Head of domestic and foreign relations.

What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.)

The Denizens of D’hara are skilled workers and craftsmen from every race. Every member will strive to be a master in their field and equally adept in their area of combat. Living a harsh mountainous climate, Denizens they must Racial tolerance is encouraged through out the community.

Ideology of the D’haran Company

The D'haran Company believes in freedom of all people, weather they are Orc, Human, Dwarf or Elf, rich or poor, possess magic or not. It is believed by the D'haran Company that all people have the right to live in freedom so long as they do not infringe upon the rights of others.

No one that joins the company will not have their culture or beliefs disrupted in any way so long as it does not breach common law that is applied to every member of the company regardless of rank, status or wealth.

Every member of the D'haran company including the leaders are subject to the same law.

Where would you prefer the town’s region be? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map).

D’hara would best be suited in a mountainous region with coastal waters close by. It is going to be part of the Nation of Empyreal so needs to be within a reasonable distance of the Capitol city Artemisia.

Any other details (architecture, races, culture, etc):

D’hara will have a mixture of Nordic and mid-evil Gothic architecture. Members of every race will be welcome in the town. The town will be in a very unforgiving terrain so the citizens must be brave strong and unrelenting. Every member will be aloud to practice any religion as long as it doesn’t break the common law and doesn’t infringe on the rights of others.

Town Jobs(Description & Requirements):

Lumberjack - Chop trees to make wood for building and charcoal/ Gather 9 stacks of logs

Farmer - Gather wheat, melon and mushrooms to make food for the town.

9 stacks wheat, 9 stacks melons 1 stack red and 1 stack brown mushrooms.

Miner - mine for cobble, coal and other valuable materials

1 large chest full of cobble and 5 stacks of coal

Hunter - hunt wild pigs, cows, chickens and skeletons, spiders and sheer wild sheep for food and supplies

2 stacks of wool, beef, chicken and pork, feathers and leather, bones

Rancher - Breed sheep for wool and pigs, cows and chickens for food and supplies.

3 stacks of wool, beef, chicken and pork, feathers and leather

Exclusive Jobs:

*Builder - Constructs buildings and roads for the town.

**Chef - Cook food for the military and Citizens

**Blacksmith - smelt cobble for building, make charcoal for smelting, make and repair armour and weapons.

VILLAGE CHARTER

Village Name: Nymphaea

Why is your character starting this village/settlement? What is its purpose?

Nymphaea’s overall purpose is to render a community in which the villages work together to provide each other with a better style of living. Giving and sharing is the key to the villages day to day functioning. The villagers would donate their own time to tend farms and fields which surround the homes and the produce would be shared between the other towns within the nation.

What type of political system or leadership is within the village?

The settlers should take it amongst them selves to stay civil. Due to it’s small size, there would be no reason to have a mass political structure. However its founder would act as it’s leader and as such, would command the rules and what ever laws he wished to be in place.

What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.)

Peaceful unless threatened, The villagers would look up to their surrounding nation for protection. As there are a minor amount of people, they are vulnerable to attacks, theifs etc. Regardless of their vulnerability, the village welcomes anybody who wishes to enter unless said persons seem suspicious in which case they would ask said persons to leave whilst sending for help from the adjoining town.

Where would you prefer the town’s region be? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map).

The land its self should be flat with only hills which would be burrowed into to make homes. Preferably with a body of water running through the center. Surrounded by trees to keep the area enclosed. Wild grass and flowers should grow. Vast flat areas would be a must as they would be utilised for farming.

The land will stay close to nature. Homes will be shaped within hills and wood and wool will be used for building. Each home should have its own small farm of the owners choice and large farms will be scattered along the plains. Those who wish to live will be allowed, however the founder is

Any other details (architecture, races, culture, etc):

Nymphaea, the northern village, focuses on community, helping the others in what ever way they can. The main export from this village is farming produce; wheat, melons, pumpkins etc. The homes will be built within nature, burrowing into hills and damaging little of the land outside so it can be utilised into farms. Each home would have it’s own small wheat field and the land surrounding the village would be used to a large field, or several small ones.

These large farms, or community farms will be accessible to all residents of Nymphaea on the condition that it is replanted. There will be a store house located next to the farms where items for said fields are stored, so seeds, tools etc.

Nymphaea will work much like Dunwood, Fields are farmed by villages and the produce stored or sold to provide for the larger community. No profit for the villagers will be made from these farms, rather they will make profit from their own farming land.

The surrounding landscape for the village should be natural, large areas, either near natural waters or river as to aid in growing the crops. Bridges will connect any areas cut off by any rivers, built using only wood and ground as to keep the village as natural as possible.

I did not read anything else but the reason for starting a nation. And again, why do we need this? The reasons given are similar to Salvus. It was unique, but now there alot of towns charters aiming for "creating a neutral place where friends can retreat from".

Whats wrong with the current kingdoms? Why cant all of you live there together instead? Will all these people be here instead of Alras?

Empyreal is not neutral. It's peaceful.

If war is struck, we will side with who we see fits.

You'll only get to see it if you visit.

How is this clashing with Alras's existence?

There is only ~5 people that were living in Alras at most, from this list.

However no-one really lived in Alras, it's a ghost town.
