Thank you for answering. How rare is this "item" that allows you to enter the Nether? And if you are part of your nation's group, do you still have to get it?

You have to think about it in RP.

The portal to the nether will be in Laurelin, these nations have grown pretty close. After seeing two nations fall and retreat. Would they let just anyone willing? someone could recover the axe and jump in the lava, destroying it and the nations chances at ridding the blight

They would choose wisely, if you want to get in and their not allowing you.. run and jump inside when the champions enter, and hope you can evade them, the monsters & obstacles.

Im going answer this because I'm part of it and have been told a good amount about it. This is what I've been told: champions and the panoply that they have chosen were chosen quite awhile ago. And ended pearls will most likely not be permitted b/c then there would be no point to the lava jumps.

how can the champions already be chosen, if nobody knows IC that we plan to attack the nether?

There 4 champions. And as native said before, they only want the worthy to go.

And about me hearing the information, I heard some from A GM and some from Native. I'm not trying to act like I'm at Natives level, which I am definitely NOT, I'm just trying to use my knowledge of the event.

And don't worry, I'm pretty sure that there will be another event around the same time as the nether event that will be equally as awesome.
