Balin, From Refugee To Irongut.

*You find a small book, encovered in dwarven runes, it is the journal of Hogarth Irongut, the first pages are ripped off, and the journal begins in the year 1330, 15th of the grand harvest, in Kal'Urguan*

I was just walking down the road, the flags seemed to look quieter...the sound of metal chirring came from the distance, as I looked down at the newly set Galahar Refugee camp, I approached, hearing there was a discussion occuring, I walked warily over to the side, expecting to see another discussion between the human and the dwarves, but this time, a baby was standing in the middle, inside a hole, screaming for help as the ones sorrounding him seemed to either ignore him, or be punished, I quickly dragged myself down, as the crowd continued to talk, I pulled the baby out, he was confused, and when our eyes met, I simply putted him in my shoulders and ran to my house, skippy soon joined me and we arrived, I felt a bond connecting me and the child, who barely could speak

With the help of Skippy, I was able to raise him up and teach him all I have to know. I taught him how to fight with swords, the Paragons, and many other things. He is more to me than just a baby I found on the streets, to me, he feels like my son. A Irongut. I plan to show him to Hiebe soon, but I don't know if I should. I feel like when I show him to the family he will be cast out, back into the world I found him in long ago. I could never let that happen to him again until he is ready, He's already 11, but he still looks like that boy I found.

He's now an Irongut, I'm so proud of him-Oh! and his beard is grand! his eyes linter to the shine of the axe and the sword, He is such a great boy, and I'm proud of him, He has grown mature and stubborn just like us, Balin is now an Irongut.
