Sultan 3953 Share Posted January 31, 2012 Da bubhosh Pilgrimage Visting the holyplaces, and giving homage to krug, and the great spirits Dwac-Nor Festival Dwac-Nor- This ritual is performed once a year during the spring . Orcs get together for a massive festival where they eat, drink, and give thanks to the Oldfather. During this festival, every Orc must strip naked and change clothes with a friend. They also wash all the clothes they get, before it is worn. This is thought to be done as some sort of renewal ceremony. Da Bubhosh Feast FOOD AND ALE Da Festival ob da Vadokanuk The festival of the dead Da Great hunt the whole nation gose on a hunt toigther Festival ob Gijakhan- Festival of the Blood Moon, features bonfire dancing, blood-letting and ritual feasting. We all give praise to Tessadare, Spirit of the Hunt. We dress up in animal skins and tell/reenact hunting stories and pass around meat from our finest kills. This would be part of Da Great Hunt, perhaps sort've a communal gathering to be had at the end of the hunt Da Head hunt Given a preson or a group to kill and bring back there heads Da tournament of champions The champion of the orcs Da Culling of da Weak- We all go on a hunt across Aegis to seek out and slaughter weakling orcs. This is to prevent them from breeding and otherwise tainting our bloodline with their bad blood. Da Shau Dance - The Rain Dance. With or without magic plugin support, the shaman gather and perform the rain dance, ushering in a fertile harvest season. Farmers, herdsmen and fishermen gather to give praise to Aeval, Spirit of Fertility. This is also a time of mating and the taking of mates and life-mates, and those that are bound together may klomp and skah (notionally) to reinforce their loyalty to one another. Eltyer 2 Share Posted January 31, 2012 I have something similar as dwac-nor Nagirbloogs = colored blood/ bloodcolors - Every orc changes clothes that are around a similar color. The clothes themselfs are not too special, they don't contain alot of gems and cover a big area to upperleg-chest. It is for rememberance when all the orcs were simple nomads. The orcs wear a colored warmask and go in a big kloomp in the arena. The winner will be granted something special. The clothes are colorful and there will be clanfights in the arena too. A great festival.
firespirit44 1323 Share Posted January 31, 2012 Krug's Day To honour the fight Krug stood up against Iblees, mayhaps use it to celebrate their honour of being the "best" race, telling stories of Krug and exaggerated tales of war, eh, something unique, but I cant figure out what. Ugroth the Dunewalker 15 Share Posted February 1, 2012 Krug's Trials Orcs of all sizes tackle various different challanges. They are awarded a point at the end of each game won, and the orc/team at the end of the event with the most points are given a title and a weapon blessed by the Warlord (enchanted?). Challange ideas (If a team game, teams choose one orc to represent them in each of the different challanges.): -Archery (Accuracy over long distances. Moving targets and still targets). -Bare-fist fighting. -Agility: Jumping on top of fence posts/doors. -Climbing: Ladder puzzles. -Word games: Riddles (Not many of these). -Survival: Running trap gauntlets. Team-specific ideas: -'Playground'. Two/three to a team. Have to work together to get one orc to the top of the course to 'ring the bell'. (Inspired by the training playground for the young Spartans (Halo Universe)). -Team battles (Of course). -'Observation'. One orc is dumped at one end of a long corridor. He must get to the other end, blindfolded. The corridor is rigged with traps. Two team-mates watch from either side of the corridor (Up above) and guide him through it. The blindfolded orc MUST follow his team-mates instructions to the letter. (Even though you can see the course OOCly, your orc can't ICly. Any cheating and the team will be disqualified and beaten for their actions.)

Ned Lud 1260 Share Posted March 29, 2012 Not sure if this thread is still relevant, but I think it would be cool to go on a hunting party to the Dwarven Ruins of Karik. We would take a Hill Giant and he would wrench the "Hammer of tha Crafter" from it's monument and use it to smash in the gates. The rest would be history. Ned Lud 1260 Share Posted April 2, 2012 What is a Hill Giant? We have those? Why has no one told Blaw about this? I want one. ((Me and Lothiriel befriended and lured one towards the War Uzg with meat. It was shiftnative in a giant skin role-playing as a hill giant that was wandering around in human lands. Nothing ever really came of it as the server was going down for maintenance, but I still consider the hill giant a friend of the War Uzg should it ever turn up again.))
