I am currently a college student living in Mexico. I enjoy archery, engineering, Minecraft, music, and books.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I'm not certain yet as I haven't tried the server, but the quality suggests that I may be playing quite a bit!

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

Roleplaying to me is being someone else; living the role of your character.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming - Using Out of Character information to benefit you or other players.

Example: If I heard about a raid on the forums in an Out of Character thread and then used that information to plan a defense, that would be metagaming.

Powergaming - Playing in a way that makes you invunerable or over-powered.

Example: If I approached someone and told them *I draw my sword, slicing off your head instantly, that would be powergaming.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect it to be a lot of fun, roleplaying seems to be really enjoyable.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

Greencubes in the beginning, but it got shut down a long time ago. Other than that, I've played on Mikeland, but their player base has dropped quite a bit.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Dolga has always been a wanderer, one that never truely settles down. His early life was that of your every day gypsy's, traveling from place to place being generally odd. He doesn't usually work for his minas, and often begs or spouts nonsense until someone pays him to shut up. He enjoys ale and fine women, but usually can't afford them. He just carries on being generally strange and does what he does best, finding odd jobs (rarely) and begging for money (much more common as of now, but that could certainly change).

As far as his past life goes, as said before, he didn't do much. Living as he could, his family was more of a group, than that of a loving caring home. They traveled wherever the masses were, because that's where the money was! Food, water, and shelter, it could all be begged right out of people, so why work? This has been his life, but as all lives go, his potential is limitless, and his assortment of odd skills and tricks could lead him to any role in the world.

Your characters ambitions:

Traveling, seeing the sights, enjoying the drinks, and meeting the women.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

He's not evil, but he'd much rather not get involved in something like this. Dolga would simply walk away, keeping far from the confrontation.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

"Hello sir!", Dolga responds. "Do you have any extra coin or bread? I haven't eaten in days or slept in a bed for weeks, either one would be nice right about now!"

My friend told me about this server as I've been bored lately, and as far as I can see roleplaying looks like it could be great fun, though I'm fairly new at it. As my English isn't the best, my friend helped revise and write this app, though I provided all the information, he just made it look good.

It really depends on what you need – you are not allowed to have anyone else write part of your application for you. As the Application Team we're here to not only accept and deny your applications, but it's our job to give you help for fixing them. We'll help you as much as we can, but we will never write a bit of your application, no matter how much you ask!

The best way to get help, is to contact the Application Team member who denied you, (in this case, myself; Danny). You can contact me either here on the forums, via a PM – or you can also find me on TeamSpeak most of the time, either in the “Application Team” channel or in one of the private channels. Feel free to poke me, or send me a message for any help, and I'll try my best to help you!

I'd also suggest that you do some reading up, depending on why you were denied, as there's some good help out there, already written for anyone who needs it!

The WikiYou provides almost every scratch of lore that we have, there's people dedicated to expanding on it, and making it as detailed as possible. It's possibly the best place to find lore on the website, although you can also find quite a bit in this forum section.

You should also read the various posts that have been made by GM's and Application Team members to help with your applications, and believe me, there are many. The most useful is the “Application Team's Advice” thread. Which can be found

Can I re-apply?

Of course you can! Often people post as many as 3 applications before they're accepted! Just make sure, that you wait until after 2 hours before you re-apply or your application will be denied. We have the 2 hour wait system to keep the Application Submissions forum tidy, and to ensure that the application team aren't overwhelmed by applicants posting a new application every five minutes.
