I first got into Minecraft when my boyfriend recommend that I try it my Sophomore year of my

Undergraduate. Since then we have been playing together searching for a welcoming server that will limit griefing and allow us to demonstrate our creativity.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to

you.:

In my opinion roleplaying is when an individual(s) assume a role for the

social benefit of a group either in real life or online gaming. Roleplaying

to me is a creative world where you can say and do just about anything to

make your new found character what you want them to become. It’s a

brilliant world of creativity and experience.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is the use of recourses out of the game to affect your gaming

experience. Powergaming, often found in role playing strategy games, is

when the character uses his or her own words to make their character more

powerful in game without the consent of another party.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect that this server will be well maintained with friendly gamers that

will improve my minecraft experience. As well as show me how to become a

better Minecraft player myself.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have played on Legendary Craft and many others that I don’t remember the

name of anymore. I left all of them for the same reasons :

Unfriendly/Unsportsmanlike player base and an inability to prevent

griefing.

Yes.

How did you hear about us?:

I heard about Lord of the Craft through my boyfriend: ldjulius.

I haven't voted for Lord of Craft. I intend to as soon as it will let me.

What is your Race?:

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as

well as age, appearance and personality, etc.)

Merenwen Longale was born to parents living in the lowland swamps of Aegis.

Her mother and father were both alchemists who dedicated their daily lives

to studying herbal recipes and crafting potions to trade at market. Her

father was also an adequate melon and mushroom farmer and spent his days

plowing and tending to the fields. From a very early age, Merenwen’s

parent’s could tell she had a passion for nature. She would spend the

afternoons digging for crawfish and muscles in the swamps. During the

night, unafraid of the monsters that lurked in the swamplands, Merenwen

would venture outside with torch in had to collect red cap mushrooms for

soup and other oddities to sell at market. Once, while swimming beneath the

swamp she discovered a satchel of precious ores left by a fallen traveler.

With the money they made from her discovery, at age 14 he mother began

instructing her in the art of herbalism. By age 17 she had become an adept

herbalist and her mother was so proud of Merenwen’s success that she

decided to send her to the city to study in the trade schools there.

Merenwen was naturally timid and feared the hustle and bustle of city

life. Her life in the swamps did not teach her the ways of city life and

she was afraid to venture into the city with its busy markets and crowded

streets. However, with the encouragement of her parents, Merenwen decided

to go into the city to study the alchemy trade. Merenwen, now 22 is a

young free spirited girl. She is naturally fearful of large cities and big

crowds and tends to seclude herself in her studies. She loves all things

natural and has a mind for nature conservation. She is a studious human who

loves good food and a long afternoon in the forests of Aegis. The swamps

and forests are her home, and she isn’t afraid of a few monsters. She’s

adept with bow and arrow and quick on her feet. She’s isn’t much at

wielding the sword but is willing to learn with some tender instruction.

Your characters ambitions:

Merenwen seeks to learn and preserve the natural ambiance of Aegis. She is

a hermetic builder and tends to shy away from the big city. She longs to

return home to be with her parents in the swamplands of Aegis.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside,

there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does

your character do?

Merenwen yells, "In the name of Aegis I implore you to stop your pursuit of

that elf!" The bandits suddenly turned on Merenwen and began to pace towards

her with hungry eyes. Merenwen draws her bow and arrow to kill the bandits.

She is steady with her bow, and strikes at one of the bandits just below the

shoulder sending him to his knees. She draws again, this time aiming for the

skull. She hits. The other bandit its stunned, trembling in fear, Merenwen pulls a

poison potion from her satchel and hurls it at the bandit. Poisoned, the

bandit runs in fear screaming from the pain of the poison. The Elf was

wounded by the bandits. It is clear that he has been hit pretty severely

judging by the wounds on his chest. Running to the elf she begins to

administer a health potion and bandages his wounds. “Are you ok my friend?”

she says. “I don’t know what to say… Thank you” the elf replies. Merenwen

remembers a similar situation she herself was in years earlier when bandits

attacked her parents home and stole several of their melons. The Elf thanks

her for her bravery and she continues in her journey toward home.

*Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!"

says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your

character answer?*

You wouldn’t happen to have any herbs or recipes for sale perchance?

Merenwen asks the merchant

The merchant smiles kindly “Of course my dear, you’ve come to precisely the

right place . I could tell when you walked in that you were a purveyor of

the alchemy trade. Let me show you my wares.”
