Deleted User 009 0 Share Posted February 13, 2012 Hey Asulon, Big Ol' Patch 2.2 has come! NPC's can now be created by VIP's as it was originally intended. Use /npc help to get started.Steel VIP's can make up to 2 NPC's.Gold VIP's can make up to 4 NPC's.Diamond VIP's up to 6 NPC's.Bedrock VIP's up to 8 NPC's.Any NPC's that are placed can be moved, renamed, given text to say, given equipment to hold, and have any of their settings modified and/or changed at any point in time by the owner of the NPC. (owner = creator). Please do note that with great power comes great responsibility. Don't be making inappropriate NPCs, or they will be removed and you will personal loose the ability to make NPCs, regardless of your donation level.We've also added the ability for Steel VIP and above to create and manage their own ingame shops! We've decided to use a really awesome plugin known as Showcase for this, you can read up on it here: http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/mech-econ-showcase-v0-8-create-visual-shops-by-spawning-drops-on-slabs-1-1-r3.17672/ It's really awesome and adds an amazing RP element to the game, now when you walk into general shops you'll be able to see all the items available in a Legend of Zelda style setting!Steel VIP - Bedrock VIP also have the ability to create basic showcases, which are essentially display cases which one can use to display their riches or just add a cool decorative element to their homes.It costs 100 minas to make a display case, and 1,000 minas to make a shop block. After the shop block is made, it can be restocked with the same item indefinitely.Fixes to the terrible lag spikes we've been having.Updated to bukkit build 1.1-R4 (revision 4) We hope you enjoy these new and awesome elements we've added to LOTC and use them to their full RP capabilities! In patch 2.3 we'll be focusing heavily on forms of fast travel and RP enhancing changes to make RP less awkward, more seeming-less, and just overall more slick and smooth. P.S.
