Metagaming: Using out of character info to achieve a goal In Game. For example: Using coordinates you got on TS to get to a city.

Powergaming:

– Doing something that not in your characters abilities. – Trying to force others into participate in something they don’t want to engage in. – Doing something without giving others the freedom to act against it, don’t give people the chance to RP

Biography (This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Age: 20

Appearance: Not much of his face is seen, only his eyes which are dark blue. The rest is covered in a hood and a bandana.

Personality: Doesn’t talk much. He can get really angry on people that raid or attack weak people, because they can’t fight back. He’s defensive by nature, but can be really kind to people he likes.

History: Jonathan was born in a little village, in the far north, where not much people have ever been. His parents owned a farm and he helped them every day on it. On a snowy Friday night, while he, his little brother and his parent were sleeping, some bandits came to the farm, stole all their stuff and set fire to the house. Jonathan woke up when he heard his mom scream. He woke up his little brother and they ran to their parent’s room. They all ran of the stairs and trough the hall but then, the first floor came down, onto his parents, they were gone and the door was blocked. He and his brother ran into the kitchen and jumped through the window. In the process their clothes caught fire and when they were outside they ran to the river next to the farm (which they used for irrigation) and jumped in. Their whole body was burned and they had nowhere to go. They tought maybe someone in the village would help them, but people got scared of them, because of the burns, and nobody recognized them. They ran into the woods and at night, Jonathan went back to steal some capes with hoods and bandanas to hide their faces.

A few days later his brother died, because they didn’t have any food (only a bit that Jonathan had stolen) and the wounds of the fire weren’t healed. Jonathan buried him at the farm with their parents. Jonathan then went south, in the direction of the sanctuary of the cloud temple.

Your characters ambitions:

Seek a city to live and start a new life, become a farmer like his parents.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

I ready my sword and shouts: “Two against one, seems pretty unfair to me". I run towards them and attack, they critically wound me, but I can kill one of them, the other once runs away. “Elf, do you have any bandages for my wounds” I ask. The elf helps me and then I leave.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

-"Hello sir, do you have some food for me?"

~"yes of course, we have roasted beef, cooked chicken, bread,..."

-"some roasted beef please"

~"here you go"

-*pays*

- "thank you sir. Do you know any place where they sell good quality axes?”

~" On the other side of the market, near the east gate of the city, there’s a great blacksmith which makes excellent tools.”

-“Ah, thank you and goodbye”

~”Goodbye”

Your rp answer is better but could still be expanded as this is part of how we see that you truly understand how to RP, but your first situational answer includes powergaming, a farm boy that can weild a sword and kill a bandit? who even has a sword? from your bio all it says is that you are a farm boy, the situational answers should also be more detailed. Your bio should be more detailed, and can also not include any villainous traits, such as stealing, if you want to play the farmboy it would be better if your parents did not die because of bandits, way too many orphans in asulon, it seems that people make their characters orphans because they do not know how to roleplay still having parents....
