An Offer To The Dark Elves

*You see a tall dark elf with red hair standing in Elandriel, He is dressed similarly to the Mori and he is shouting. He shouts*

Far too long have the Mori’Quessir been viewed by all nations as ruthless slavers with no sense of peace or respect. All this is wrong, it is merely propaganda spread by those who know nothing of the Mori culture. I have experienced being a slave to the Mori first hand, I am treated better by the Mori as a ‘slave’, than I am by every other race in Asulon. The Mori have been misunderstood and attacked by the Wood Elves, by the Dwarves, and especially by the High Elves. The Mori wish for peace, as do we all; therefore, they extend their hand out to all of our Dark Elf brethren to come and live at peace with us. They invite their Dark skinned kin to live in the City of Menorcress with them in peaceful cohabitation. The Mori have prepared land for those who do not wish to live inside the actual city for the Dark Elves to build on, and create a settlement connected closely to the city by a tunnel only recently finished. I have seen it personally, there is a mighty mountain for them to to live in or on, and even a lake full of fish to provide food for them. So then, the Mori have opened wide their arms, despite all of our previous troubles, come take the hand the Mori have graciously offered. For those who wish to live with us, find either me or Izier, another rothe, and we will bring you safely into the city. We will show you the homes prepared for you in Menorcress, or the land that is prepared for you on the surface. You are by no means obligated or forced to stay in the caverns or in the lands made ready for you. Let us get over the petty arguments, let us end our vicious racism, let us have Peace.

*The Elf stands quietly back and listens to the talk of the people who gather and those who merely pass by.*

((This is legitimate, this is not some scam to drag you in here and enslave you... It has been approved and orchestrated by the Mori Leaders, Me and Izier have just been chosen as the messengers.))

*walks up standing next to Silith smiling a bit adding his two minas*

Greetings and Salutations, For many years now every race has viewed the Mori’Quessir with anger and spite in their hearts. The truth is that they have never treated anyone unfairly. I am a Rothe within their city. I have served for many years and have heard all of the surfacers rumors and lies. Because of myself and another Rothe the Dark Elves are to be welcomed to live within Menorcress. If they so wish to that is. All that the Mori’Quessir ask is for peace in exchange for opening their doors to Dark Elves. For those that would like to live on the surface there is a beautiful swamp with plenty of room to grow food and start up families. Those that wish to stay with us feel free to speak with myself or Silith, another rothe, that has also written a notice about this subject. By no means will you be forced into servitude, nor will you be forced to stay against your will. It is time to end the attacks.

*Malice Appears out of the shadows *

You speak well of the mori, being their "Kairuu" But what of this?

*Pulls up his shirt to show a brand marking of a cresent moon*

I was once a slave to mori as well, they are not as you speak, prove to me otherwise.

*shows his mark proudly on his bare chest*

"This means nothing, it is merely a symbol of ownership when they took us as slaves. They would not do any such thing to those whom they accept as friends and companions in their city. You were taken in darker times when the Mori would not accept anyone who stole their lands. Through the work of Myself and Izier, this has changed. They no longer are aggressive towards we dark elves. If you wish to see the change first-hand then come and visit us sometime."

"Unfortunately you live in their lands. Instead of showing agression they have asked for peace with this pact. You don't have to accept it or join. However I'd prefer you keep your thoughts on the past to yourself. We've come to discuss the future."

Kerhal smiles, The Moon shaped tattoo engraved into his wrist clearly shown, he swings his axe around, with his things packed, he frowns upon the city of Normandor, the constant bullying was over. He could be free.

((Glad this is finally through, My whole "Bully victim" ploy was running dry.))

*Smiles ever so sweetly, flicking his red eyes to a deep, innocent blue, he unfolds a paper, quivers his lips and writes.*

"People, wait no please, don't listen to the bad man, he took a girl, he almost killed her, he tried, he tortured her almost to death, don't listen to him he is a bad evil man!"

*His eyes coupled with his young face make him look no older than 15 or 16, so young, and looking so damaged, he shows his scars to the crowd, trying to show them what happened. He finally leaves as silently as he came*

*dressed in black leather and dark blue cloak a figure aproaches, the figure raises its head and you can see her face under the hood. The beautiful high elf moves her hood back as she speaks:*

You say we attacked the mori and that we have treated them as enemies, but I assume you know it was not without reason. We never had the desire to attack them, they forced us to, you may not understand, Ill explain: What would you do if I cut your hand off right now?

*she takes out a golden dagger*

would you ask me kindly to not do it next time we meet, or would you see it as an offesive act and pull your sword?

*she smiles and steps back, waiting for an awnser*

"You accuse us of propaganda and yet you regularly attack us and harm our citizens, whereas our prejudices are only verbal."

*Silith turns to the man at this outburst*

You, are you a High Elf? Would you like me to expound on the multitude of Grievances the Mori and I even more-so, have against the High Elves? The offer is not open to you or any High Elf, I am not sure if ever it will be open to them. Simply because of what the High Elves have done to the Mori. Who knows? That may change in time, though I do not see it happening in the near future.

*Silith looks to Aurea and responds somewhat taken aback at the open threat, but continues with a smile*

You bring up an excellent example, thank you. Yes, the Aegeans have struck at the Mori, we have taken their lands. Their 'hand' has indeed been cut off from them. You have massacred the spiders that are very important in their culture. They struck out against the surface dwellers in retaliation. If you were to take my hand in violence, how would you expect me to respond, if not in the same manner? The Mori did not understand why we came and took their lands. So they strove to fix this severed 'hand'. They did what is natural to anyone of us, the same thing we did to the Undead. They saw something to be 'evil' and they sought to remove it. If you had been an Aegis and a group of people took over the lands that had belonged to the Elves for centuries. This land which was quite sacred, and very important to your people. Would you not do the same as the Mori? The Mori lost their sacred hunting grounds and fought back at the intruders. If I lost my hand to you for no reason I would certainly fight back against you. The same as the Mori have done, except on a much larger scale. The Mori want peace too, why do you still offer violence to them in return? You are not even a Dark Elf, why not let them have peace if they want it? The Mori have given an opportunity for peace, Why do you stand in the way?

The reason why the high elves make threats is due to Menorcress making threats to Haelun'or under a baseless claim. Haelun'or rests outside the lands of the Mori so that arguement of the High Elves taking their lands is untrue. Any attack by Menorcress on Haelun'or will have been done so unprovoked.

As a Mali'ker and Princess of Malinor, I recommend to all other Mali'ker to wait for an actual representative of Menorcress to confirm these offers. Rather then speaking to a conditioned slave.

Anyone with a collar or brand that refuses to have it removed cannot, and I say this with deep regret, be trusted. It is not the fault of the victim however, but they are so conditioned by their masters that they can no longer think and act as they once did while free. While this is very unfortunate, it is still a very true thing.

"I will bring you Representative then. We have come here in peace and expect to be treated as such. Please remove your lights for when we bring him. We will return within the next few months." ((3 days at best))
