TEEbrown 348 Share Posted February 17, 2012 The Quota System’s Workings: *Notice* DON'T pay your quotas ahead of time. The quotas are still very new and I'm not sure how large the quotas should be yet. So, if you have paid your quota ahead of time, I ask you to please retrieve your extra quota for the time being. Thank you. The system works as such; each different sect. ex. woodcutting, farming, mining, will be run by an official. The official will employ workers to work the different forests, farms and mines. The worker, in exchange for use of the land, must fill a quota per week in real life. It is the worker’s job to bring the quota to the Vault where he will have a designated chest to drop off the quota. If the quota is not met, permissions to the area will be revoked, housing will be withheld, and will get a notice from the Legion demanding the quota be paid. If the quota is not paid, the housing and its contents will be confiscated and donated to the Stockpile. Then the name of the dwarf will be added to the Black Book barring his entrance into the City until he has publicly announced his wrong doings and repaid the debt. All the materials that the workers extract have a set price of minas. To fill the quotas, the workers will have to gather enough materials to pay off the amount of minas required for that week. If the materials that is extracted for the week's quota goes over the amount required, it will not be carried over for next week's quota, unless it completely covers next week's quota. If the worker has gathered extra materials and has their quotas paid off, they are allowed to sell their extra goods to the kingdom for the prices already set. Now that the first week has passed for the quotas, pricing will be more stable. Although, there still may be some more changes in the quota pricing. So, continue to not pay the quota ahead of time. This week's quota counts, so make sure you turn in your quota. This week's quota is 2/26 - 3/3. If you are interested in one of these jobs either post here on the topic with your MC name, RP name and the job desired; or pm the Official that runs the job that is desired. *Notice Officials* When you have hired a dwarf, post his MC name here on this thread. Miner Miners are the foundation of the Dwarven society. The miners will be organised by the Mining Guild and it's leader Glod. Currently there are two mines, one in Karik and the other in Kal'Dwain. Cracker 4570 Share Posted February 17, 2012 (Pin this!) Can I git de' title High Merchant? Suuds mure fancy-like. Also, I'm interested in joinin' all de' guilds! *chuckles* I dabble in all d'ese t'ings, plus I'm always luukin' tew help de Kingdom. Wuuld officials get a lightened quota by de way? Just fer helpin' out in de city in udder ways? I t'ink det'd be fair. (I'd also like to say that as a merchant, apples traditionally go for 5 minas an apple. So the quota trade number of .5 is way too little. Up it up a bit, to 3-5. Gold ore could be lowered, though 150 ain't a bad price. Lower coal a bit, and Iron can be lowered a bit (20~25))

I was already worried that you wouldn't have enough time to organize and keep track of all the merchants while being in a leadership role in the legion. Just tone it down, I don't want see the merchants weakened because you have too many obligations.))
Juvens 199 Share Posted February 17, 2012 ((I may note from the google doc, because i think noone seen it: "Head Lumberjack (needs better name): (Vote Count: 1)(What about Head Forester? ~Juvens)" And in my opinion: one person=one job...so crackerjack focus on one thing and give others the chance to rank up within the kingdom ~Juvens))
