Nothing to do at your city? Would you like a random, fun attack happen upon your city? Many players are bored, poor, and need something to do. Why can't we have Hordes of zombies attack settlements?

Back in the undead attacks, lots of players would get on the server just to fight zombies and to gain free loot. These creatures were fun to kill, and they are a natural creature, that happens to come back from the dead. My idea was to have GMs completely disappear, and use Zombie Eggs to spawn the beasts for players to fight with. A certain number of zombies should be spawned based upon the population of people. Also, if the cities have gates, and a large number of zombies are knocking at the front gate, the GM should make a hole in the gate, that seems as if the zombies had to rip and tear through the gate. Whole cities could roleplay as if they are under siege. And could also be used when both GMs and players are bored. Maybe set some houses on fire, and have some minor fire damage done to homes, due to the chaos of the settlement someone would be bound to drop a torch carelessly.

Populations:

Village (5 - 10 Players) - 50 Zombies (Scattered about in groups of five)

Town (10 - 20 Players) - 100 Zombies (Larger Groups, of about 10 zombies a group,scattered about.)

City (20 - 35 Players) - 175 Zombies (One large mass horde, attempting to break down the gate for delicious brains.)

Capital (35 - 50 Players) - 375 (Just go crazy spawning these guys.)

I love these types of attacks, but there has to be an RP reason behind them. Even magic or something, and from a magic character. Not just a GM attacking for the sake of attacking.

We love this too, but as with most things, there has to be method behind the madness.

We're trying to move away from the Occult and Undead themes with Asulon, and as such, we're trying to cut back on the use of Undead.

However, a few zombie attacks here and there wouldn't hurt, I suppose...
