Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Jayson Uther was born during the Suns Smile to a carpenter as a father and a merchant as a mom. He grew with a fine family and was the first son who was born in Aegis. His mom later had four other sons: Luke, Pietro, Falthorn, and Tristan being the youngest. Jayson has short, dark brown hair (although hidden by his helmet), 5' 10", brown eyes, strong arms, and his armor isn't of the best quality. He grew up in Al'Khazar helping his dad with carpentry. During that time, he would enjoy looking at the next-door blacksmith's weapons and sometimes experimented with them. While a teenager, Jayson found out about the soon to come Pheonix Revolution and forced his family to join up with him. He was able to help out and helped learn fighting techniques. After Oren was split up, his family undoubtedly joined the Kingdom of Renatus and lived in the capital, Galahar. However, his father was not able to find work as a carpenter and the whole family was forced to work as farmers on the outskirts, except for his mom and Tristan. His mom worked as a maid for a wealthy family and Tristan was able to find work as a blacksmith. But as everyone knows, the undead swarmed Aegis and took over causing Jayson Uther to pilgrimage to Asulon with his family. There, he and his family moved to Renatus and helped with the repair of Arethor. Howeverm Jayson was able to find work as a guard, which suited him more. Jayson is now 31 and works together with his brother, Tristan Uther.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

Jayson hopes to be a valiant knight and leader of a settlement one day. After that, he wouldn't know what to do. Although he also hopes to become a captain before gaining leadership. Because of his interest in swords and living near a blacksmith and a weapons dealer when he was a young boy he has those desires. This is also proved when fighting in the Pheonix rebellion. But for now, he has to survive as a normal guard in hopes of one day doing something great.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

Jayson Uther's favorite tool is his sword, which he calls Divinegrand, and hopes to use this sword for many more battles.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Jayson enjoys training with his sword fighting skills, survival tactics, and his small, secret enjoyment for cooking.

A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format):

Other Information about your Character:

Balluffip and I have worked on this and he is OK with me being his brother.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Jayson immediately unsheathes his sword and races into battle, shouting "Leave that halfling alone!". The bandits would then turn and look in shock not believing someone would fight them. For that is because the two bandits were 6' 5", as big as a huge orc chief, and muscles bulging in strength. Jayson would use his sword to parry the bandits rough, yet powerful blows while the halfling raced off in fear. After seeing he might not win this battle, he would attempt to stab one of the bandits in the chest in hope of causing so much pain that they wouldn't follow him. The sword would smash through the man's stomach causing him to scream in pain, losing his voice. And as his fellow bandit turned to see the deep gash slowly killing him, Jayson would slice off the tough looking bandit's head causing it to roll off the road since he saw an advantage that was better than fleeing. The slowly dying bandit would turn up in shock as Jayson landed a fatal blow to his head smashing in the bandit's skull, killing him instantly. Finding a few valuable gold and iron pieces of jewelry to sell, he would steal those and nothing else leaving the corpses to rot in the middle of the road.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

The merchant, having a big nose, was in his stall among the many alongside the road on the water. He would have a stock of valuable jewelry and expensive, posh items. Jayson, finding none of the things useful, would state roughly, "You have nothing that interests me big nose and I'll be going." But a second after turning around, he remembers the wares he obtained from the dead bandits he killed. He then would take out his valuables, a gold necklace, iron ring, and some other assortments (These would all be just gold and iron ingots). Turning around, he would notice the stall was of darkwood and dark blue cloth. He would take out the jewelry and ask, "How much would you take for these?" The merchant would obviously give him an unfair price saying, "Oh, around 100 minas." Finding the price too low, Jayson would bid with his hand at the hilt of his sword and chuckle as he said, " 200 minas...I don't think you want any trouble seeing as you must have a lot with that...mistake." The merchant, his face in fear. would cower, "Fine, here's your money," and would hand the 200 minas over in exchange for the jewelry.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

The hut would consist of a small unused table, stool, and the wooden chest. Finding iron bars, Jayson would ****** them up and leave the golden sword, finding it wears too quickly. Although, the day would be ending and Jayson had to stay the night until daybreak. And throughout the night while sitting in the hut, his temptations for the golden sword would grow. Eventually he would take it and leave the dilapidated hovel in the morning. And after eventually reaching a town, he would sell the goods. (I didn't describe his adventure to the town seeing as that was out of this scenario.)

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

The weathered traders seemed distraught with worry when they said their greetings. Jayson would reply after hearing their distress, "Hail! What be your troubles?" The traders would then tell him, "The bandits have kidnapped one of our younglings. We sent a rescue party out, but they haven't returned." Sensing the trader's needs, Jayson would accept the quest and state, "I will find her and bring her back as soon as I can. Have you any idea which way they went?" The trader would reply, "The bandits went north to one of their camps. May your travels be safe and swift. And may the gods watch over you." Jayson would then leave after collecting supplies from the traders' bleak camp, feeling the sorrow in the air everywhere. Of course, he would leave the next morning in pursuit of the bandits. (I haven't continued since I'm continuing in the next question)

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

While in search of the bandits, Jayson had stopped in a small northern settlement. The town was a small one with a weak guard and poor peasants consuming the mass of the town. But after hearing the guards going after the bandits, he immediately joined them at the gates of the town after finding a notice. He would follow them, but not mix with the guards, knowing most of them would die. Finally, they reached the bandit camp. It was clear where it was from the smoke coming off the fires and the animal skin tents' smell. The guards would attempt to be organized and sneak up on them, but they made such a racket the bandits snuck up on them. Now the bandits were civil and actually wore warmer clothing and had better weapons than the guards. So the guards all broke up and fell but some died and some bandits died in all the ruckus. Finding this a perfect situation, Jayson would sneak into the camp where none of the bandits were, and found the girl strapped up in a tent. Immediately, he would break the ropes with his sword and ****** up the girl while covering her mouth to keep her form screaming. The girl was surprisingly small, light-weight, with normal features, and brown hair. While running from the camp, Jayson would hush in her ear, "I'm hear to save you now please stop screaming." But of course, the girl tried even harder to get her voice out. Finally, away from the camp he let the tired, voice-cracked girl on the ground and started making a fire. The girl would then look at him and start to get up, thinking of running. But Jayson would state, "You won't last a night out there by yourself young one and it would be smart to let me take you back to your family." Then the girl, without saying anything, would sit back down crossing her arms in frustration. After the fire was glowing and camp was set up, Jayson asked, "What's your name young one?" The girl would mumble, "Eliza." After daybreak, Jayson would carry the girl and start walking back to the trader's camp.

-I liked your app (especially the fact that you know so much lore).

-The problem that I am having is that your character has absolutely no weaknesses or down-points. (For instance: He was able to take on two 6' 5" bandits with muscles of an orc chief).

If you are still unsure of why you were denied, send me a pm and I

Will gladly explain.

If I am not on, go to the teamspeak channel "Application Team chat"

For above problem.

Please wait 24 hours before posting another application.

Have a nice day/night :)
