Tolta, 3rd of The Second Seed, 21-

King Renati of Seventis sat with the Ascellian leaders Lord Jullius and Lady Ariana to discuss unity with the two rival states. An agreement was reached which accepts Ascella into the Kingdom of Seventis as a town. Ascella is granted many rights and liberties. This document solidifies any tensions between the states and is proof the terms were agreed to. Ascella becomes a welcomed member of the Kingdom and shows loyalty and pride. The Seventis-Ascella union is a great step towards peace and growth in the bountiful Cloud Temple Lands. Lord Jullius and Lady Ariana will take a great role in the continuation of the Seventis Kingdom and it's fair government. Below are the terms that are agreed upon by the signing of this document.

Section 1: Military

1a. The Kingdom of Seventis is defended by a sole army that works under one chain of command. The town of Ascella reserves the right to own and maintain a militia for a sense of security and enhanced protection.

1b. The army of Seventis has the ability to garrison Ascella for lasting defense and security. The army will patrol the roads between the capital and Ascella to eliminate bandits and thieves.

1c. Lord Jullius will not harass the army in any way.

Section 2: Loyalty

2a. Ascella must provide loyalty to the Kingdom and its government. It has a say in the governing of the people, but must make their claims peacefully. Any rebellions, violence, or threats will not be tolerated.

2b. Ascella has the right to create its own laws and regulations, but must follow any specific laws given by the government.

Section 3: Funds

3a. Seventis will no collect any taxes from Ascella at this point. This is subject to change for all towns.

3b. If the Ascellian government requires minas or supplies, Seventis will try its best to grant these. It is not guaranteed based on the condition of the Kingdom at the time.

Section 4: Foreign Relations

4a. Seventis will stay out of direct combat in the current war between Renatus, Hanseti, and Salvus to prevent complications.

5a. Ascella will respect any alliances forged by Seventis and will work towards expanding the Kingdom.

Section 5: Development

5a. Lord Jullius and Lady Ariana hold the rights to construct their town how they please based on their architectural styles.

5b. The army is granted a barracks inside Ascella.

More sections may be added if necessary, each time requiring a signature as the terms are edited.
