Henry's Nightmare

*Henry opens his eyes to find he is in the middle of a dark hallway*

'' where am I?''

*Henry looks in both directions and sees a never-ending hallway*

*A deep voice calls out from the darkness*

'' what's wrong Henry? Scared? ''

'' who are you? Where are you? Where am I? ''

*The voice chuckles at Henry's questions*

"so many questions for such a LITTLE BOY!"

"I'm not a little boy!"

"That's not what everyone else thinks" 

*Dark smoke fills the room and Henry's father , Barry , appears out of the smoke*

"you're just a child son. You're not old enough to be trusted on your own. You're just a disappointment to me! I don't want you to be king of Skravia!"

"Shut up! This isn't real!"

*Barry disappears and the voice shouts, filling the endless hallway with noise*

"ISN'T IT?"

"This is just a lie! Dad would never say that!"

"Maybe it is, Henry, or maybe it isn't but this is YOUR dream, not mine. This is your dream and that means I know all your fears. "

*Henry spins around, frantically looking for the source of the voice*

"Where are you?! You have to be somewhere!"

*Henry's friend, Reman, steps out of the smoke*

"Poor little Henry. Poor WEAK little Henry. You'll never be good enough. You'll always have to be looked after  by others. It doesn't matter how old you say you are, to me, you're just a little baby"

*Reman fades into the smoke*

"I'm not a baby! I'm getting married soon!" 

*the voice begins to laugh*

"Getting married? You're only 11! you think you're ready to get married? You can't even look after yourself!"

*Out of the smoke, Henry's Fiancé, Penelope, storms out of the smoke clouds*

"You think you're good enough for me? I can't believe I agreed to marry you! You're the real reason I drink so much! Just leave me alone!"

*Penelope vanishes and the smoke disappears, revealing an empty White room*

*Henry falls to his knees and begins to cry*

"Please! Make it stop!"

*The room fills with an intensely bright light*

*Henry opens his eyes to find himself in his bed and sighs in relief*

"it was only a dream"

*Henry looks down and realises that he has wet the bed*

"Oh no! I need to clean this up before dad sees this"
