what is meta-gaming

Meta-gaming is using you learn while out of character and apply it to your character even though your character did not know that information. An example is friend says 'my town 10050 blocks to the west of your character" then you turn wet head in that direction and get to the town. This is meta gaming because your character did not know that the town was there and wouldn't likely travel west from the miiddle of the forest for no reason.

what is Power Gaming

Power gaming is declaring an action that does not allow the opponent to do anything. An example is you say "I draw m sword and cut and cut (name here)'s head off with one sweep" when it should've been "I draw my sword and swing at my opponents neck".

what the server might be like

I think that it will be a nicely woven mix of military, regular minecraft, and politics as there is preset racism's that most payers must abide(unless otherwise pointed out in their characters bio/information) it would really add pride to the mix as you would be proud of your in game species. you would have to worry about not only

My name is Amroth Minytaur

So whats your story then?

Well my childhood wasn't too eventful i'll tell you that an average start for me. I learned how to use a bow and a sword as well as the Elven history. Only in my teen did things start happening. First of all my Skin changed and was darker that the usual gray of Dark Elves. Second I realized that I knew nothing of the Dark Elf history at all as a result I searched every reserve of knowledge. "well what did you find? Nothing I found nothing but a few small songbooks and an ill taken care of book. So I thought that very day at age 17 that I must find a Dark Elven town

That day I set off in hopes of finding something I was foolish there was nothing anywhere. As if the High Elves wanted the Dark Elves to be deprived of their past however I found clues and rumours that town were starting near the caverns so I set off. "well what happened why are you still looking after 4 years". I am still looking because the rise of the Mori locked down the area no one would let a 17 year old through.

"But then why did it take so long for you to leave"? Because my family started dying of age and war as well as even death by gravel."That's horrible"!. Yes it is but now I will find a town where my culture exists. A place where I am equal to any High Elf. Even superior. And today Ii set out my good friend. Today I complete my destiny. Well then be sure us humans will help you and Good luck. "many thanks" said Amroth

"Hold on"! "Yes"? said Amroth. "Why do you wear that mask"? "It was a gift from my father he gave it tome on his death bed he said that it had been passed on to him the same way". "oh". "well be on your way now I hope I see you again". "Likewise".

Open Response questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Amroth will at first try to reason with them if not heeded he will challenge them to the PvP arena and will help the halfling in any other way possible.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the m

merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?"

Amroth will respond by saying well if you could point me in the direction of the nearest Dark Elf town I might be giving you some reward.(wink)

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond

Amroth would respond by placing a sign in front of the chest saing the person who took the contents of your chest wen (whatever direction I went) if you want it back come to me sorry to take the contents i was not aware that the hut was yours. and would take the contents.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Amroth would accept graciously then leave upon giving an oath that he would one day repay them.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?

Amroth would accept the offer and fight the bandits.then accept the reward and leave as soon as he can.

-I would suggest using a spell checker such as www.spellcheckplus.com to make sure your application has correct grammar and spelling.

-Your biography does not make much sense in places, you seem to be talking to thin air and your biography conflicts with the lore of the server. For example the high elves do not attempt to deprive the dark elves of their history. The style of your biography is interesting, but it is extremely unclear.

-Your tool and skill answers need a lot of improvement. Write at least 2 sentences detailing what you chose and why.

-Your open response answers are in need of a love of improvement. They need to be in full RP and must be a paragraph each.
