Renatus Arcani

We all know of the knights, the soldiers, nobles, and the things we see everyday. Life goes on, in simple bliss. The people think we solve everything with war, politics, and court. This is not true. Deep in the shadows, with the house of the Redeemed Betrayers, the keepers of Renatus wait. They are the most loyal, and always finish the job. No matter the consequence. The name is whispered amongst the peasents, and bad children are told to behave, or the Renatus Arcani will get them, and haul them off. These are stories to scare of course, never given a second thought, but the Renatus Arcani are all too real.

They started from the House of Loken, and only recruit from them. It is even whispered that all the members are involved in some sort of hanus activity. Nothing has ever been traced to them however, and only the king knows for certain, and he simply laughs when they are brought up, saying they are children's stories, for why would he want everyone to know of the Renatus Arcani, his personal agents.

Not one has even been caught, and only those who show true skills in something useful, are ever allowed in. It is unsure how members are inducted in, but it is rumored to be bloody, and invloves an oath to the throne, and to never speak of your actions. Some think they see a cloacked and masked figure, but those who live to retell their tale, are never sure. they usually pass it off as thier eyes playing tricks. That's IF they survive.

The Renatus Arcani can work in anything from solo missions, to large groups. Nothing is forbidden to them, except to harm the king, or what's rumored to be a noble house. The noble house is yet to be identified, and it may just be a rumor, but one can never be certain in these times. Nothins is out of their reach, and they will never quit until they have finished their task. Such is the way of the Renatus Arcani.

The Renatus Arcani are not simple killers however, they have order, and regime. the ranking system is based on how well they preform their missions, and how skilled they are. Killing is obviously the most valued trait, but other skills such as disguise, lock picking, lying, and acrobatcis are valued.

Ranks:

Arcani_Redeemer: The leader of the Renatus Arcani, they speak with the King, and lead the order.

Arcani_Cypher: the second in command. He is rarely seen away from the Redeemer. He functions as the leader in the Redeemers absence.

Arcani_Elite: The most valued of the Arcani, they preform the toughest of missions. They usually report to the Redeemer, or Cypher personally.

Arcani_Trusted_Killer: These are veterans of sort, and often lead groups in squad missions if nobody of a higher rank is present. They report to Arcani_Elites.

Arcani: The newly initiated Arcani Apprentices, are simply called Arcani. They usually work in pairs, unless they are proving themselves, or the multiple Arcani is overkill.

Arcani_Apprentice: New Arcani who act as a whole. They are new aspirants, who have been selected to join House Loken, and in turn, the Renatus Arcani. they must prove themselves, or risk a possible death to make sure nothing about the Arcani gets out.
