Da Shatorz

During the “The Purge Of Haelun'or” the orcs of the War Nation of Strigzgoi worked with pirates to attack the High Elves of Haelun’or. They attacked by sea with Pirate Ships equipped with so called “cannons.” Equipped with this and a special type of ammunition, the orcs were able to blast through the walls of the High Elves. Once the battle had finished and the orcs emerged victorious, they went back on the Pirates’ ships and sailed back to the War Nation. They docked close to the Camp of the Lurs and the boats have not moved since.

Moksha’lur, who was in these battles, remembered of the cannons’ destructive power. He believed that these can be redesigned, so that they do not have to be used with boats and can be used on land, perhaps as defenses for the Lur Fort. He talked Gob, a nearby Goblin who was playing with a stick of dynamite to go with him and redesign the cannons. Gob agreed and they ventured onwards towards these boats.

At the arrival at these boats, they climbed up into one of the abandoned pirate ships which had suffered some damage from the battle and examined the cannon. Gob quickly climbed through the opening of the cannon and examined the outside of it, he realized that it was not the most complex technology in the world. Essentially, he opened it up to see the mechanics of it and realized it was not that complicated at all, in Gob’s eyes, it was a box, a bow, and redstone sprinkled over. Once Gob had a mental image of the components, they set off to build a replica of the cannons. They began with the name, they decided to name the prototypes “Durpz” after the loss of one of the Lurs fallen.

Attempt #1

The First of Its Kind

• Resulted in the "Durp" to self destruct on usage due to heating and firing issues.
  
• This "Durp" could only be aimed at the ground because of weight and support issues.
  

Attempt #2

The Chicken Maker

• This "Durp" could only be used with eggs because of major mechanical malfunctions.
  
• The "Durp" was aimed higher up and it was able to shoot straight.
  
• This "Durp’s" heating issues had not been fixed and after throwing too many eggs, it exploded and caused it to cook a few chickens in the process.
  

Attempt #3

Destroyer of Technological Advancements

• Accidentally destroyed the first zeppelin prototype along with its plans.
  
• This "Durp" came with a stand and fired much higher up. It was also built atop a hill.
  
• More baby chickens had died during these experiments.
  

Attempt #4

Gob’s Redstone Addiction

• 
  
  
• While building this prototype, Gob accidentally sniffed some redstone powder powering the mechanism.
  
• Gob then developed an obsession and addiction to redstone powder.
  
• The "Durp" failed to function as all of the eletrikalz were strangely missing.
  

Attempt #5

Progession

• The mechanical plans for the “Durpz” were scraped in this design and replaced with something that would allow for different types of ammunition.
  
• This "Durp" allowed for arrows as ammunition.
  
• This “Durp’s” plans were recorded and used as the master pattern for the rest.
  
• Ventilation flaps were added, they were set to open and close upon firing.
  

Attempt #6

Moksha Loses a Finger

• With this newfound weapon, Moksha was overly excited and lost the pinky from his left hand.
  
• The "Durp" shot an arrow and Moksha had his hand in the way of it. This weapon was rated as a success.
  
• A lever was added to make firing easier and the ventilation system was improved.
  

Attempt #7

Da War Wulf

• 
  
  
• This “Durp” featured a wooden wolf head attached to the front.
  
• This “Durp’s” recoil sent it into a nearby river.
  
• Had problems with the wolf head catching fire.
  
• The arrows for this “Durp” were bathed in a solution that caused a big boom but this came with more heating issues even with the ventilation improvements.
  

Attempt #8

Shator

• 
  
  
• Replaced the wooden heads with stone heads.
  
• Recoil problems again but reduced to only a few feet this time.
  
• Wolf head caused some reloading issues but they are manageable.
  
• Named “Shator” as it is the final product.
  
• ”Shatorz” still exhibit some heating problems.
  
• Two Models were developed.
