Deleted User 009 0 Share Posted March 26, 2012 Hey Asulon, I made some quick changes to the forums... - Changed amount of posts shown per page of a thread to 10 by default from 25. It took up extra bandwidth and caused slow loading for people with bad internet. - Increased max. images and emotes per post to 20 from 10. - Increased max size of post from 100KB to 200KB. - Changed max size (in pixels) of media from 199 to 250px. - Changed max. amount of polls per post from 3 to 5. - You can now attatch a poll to a post no matter how long ago it was made. - You can now make poll only thread, were all replies are disabled. - You can no longer +rep your own posts. - Posts with 10 or more +rep will now be marked as "popular". - All normal members can now have up to 100 messages in inbox. (up from 50) - All users can now send attachments in PMs. - All VIPs AND Old Hats can now have up to 250 messages in inbox. - Aether VIPs can now have unlimited messages in inbox. - All users can now lock/unlock their own topics. - Diamond VIP+ can now delete/restore their posts. (still visible to mods at all times)

KarmaDelta 969 Share Posted March 26, 2012 Get rid of rep entirely? :3 Kind of tired of people saying in there statuses "OMGROFLBBQ! GOT 1 REP GAIZ!" And might as well get rid of profile views as well..... Now people would have to post about what they are doing instead of things that mean nothing ^-^
Song Druid 1486 Share Posted March 26, 2012 I thought I would post here a couple suggestions to adding to the forums as well Vaq... -Increase inbox space for regular members. From what I understand we have alot of space on the website, so why not give it to other members? It's hard to keep track of old messages when they have to delete them often. -Normal members are not able to click on their warning and view notes and reasons made by staff members. This defeats the purpose of the warning system and should be changed. -Allow for GMs/FMs to view who edits posts.

And players with negative reputation could feel hurt just because people don't agree with their posts.

KarmaDelta 969 Share Posted March 26, 2012 - Diamond VIP+ can now delete/restore their posts. (still visible to mods at all times) I like the deleting part, but what does the restore mean? Like bring back topics that were deleted? Old posts buried away? Like what?
Deleted User 009 0 Author Share Posted March 26, 2012 I like the deleting part, but what does the restore mean? Like bring back topics that were deleted? Old posts buried away? Like what? Meaning you can "hide" any posts you ever make in a topic. You can then later "unhide" these posts if you wish.

Song Druid 1486 Share Posted March 26, 2012 Can you fix the warning issue as well? It's as if the warnings have no purpose if they can't see what they were warned for, you know? ^.^ Thanks for the quick response!
