A Safety Concern: Lack Of Guards

Recently I have noticed a lack of guards in the city. Many rooms in the barracks are abandoned or vacant and the list of those 7 or 8 guards that are seen regularly ((active)) is small. Even worse, those who still patrol the city are generally alone in their duties. ((different time zones)). If the city was attacked, the numbers would be unfavorable. ((Probably 4 or 5 guards could make a scheduled raid)) Some new recruits are needed, along with the moving of items of the deserters. I have nothing against my comrades, and I am only concerned with the safety of the city.

OOC:

I understand it is spring break, and people are on trips. So if we decide do anything, we should wait a few days.

Also, the door to the Barracks is locked :-D

Sorry that I have to say this, but if you use this to make a decision on attacking Normandor, or send spies to learn this information that is metagaming Unless you are in the guard or a city official, you never saw this That said, have a nice day ;-)

((lol We are moving the barracks. That one has been inactive and another one has been going up. There is a larger location that can house all the facilities we need for the military. If you seek more information on Malinors military seek out Oceas.))

((How are people going to get their things then? I've been going in through a balcony to move my items to my new home but others might not think that far  ))

((For the record, my character Kael has been planning on doing some banditry in Malinor for quite some time because of their lack of guard. It isn't a lesser-known fact. Either way, if you see Kael doing some stealing or kidnapping, it's not meta off of this.))

((A pretty well known fact is that the elves conceal their soldiery within their cities. Official guards are very few, but there is not very many non-combative elves. Even the Princes count among the expert swordsman and archers. Any character wishing to commit banditry could be placing themselves in a very dangerous situation. Thats just common information for anyone who knows elves.))
