Anyways i think all of these issues can be solved through RP so without further delay I'm going to post a Forum RP thread containing the first bit of our "heist" on Alras; I've informed Mediocre More or less of what i'll be doing -SO- I guess its up to him if he wants to go along with it.

((I originally had planned to post the thread on friday but because of all the OOC "issues"...(-_-) that seem to be arising im going to be posting the thread today.))

Since mediocre and many others will be busy since its a holiday weekend we sort of need to move it one week. War decs are designed to allow both sides to field their actual IC military might during such things so one side cannot simply attack when the others soldiers are all offline. Well and on top of that Mediocre sort of has to be here, hes the king and its his vault.

We ask that you change the date of the war to the weekend after, since it is easter weekend during the time of this war. Most of our soldiers, and some of our officials who are important in battles won't be able to show up. Even King Syrio will not be able to do it on this date.

Plus, you are required to receive concrete GM or Admin approval for a war claim. If one has already approved this and not posted, I ask them to post just for clarification.

( No it would not, the reason for a war claim is to set up things that BOTH parties agree on. Besides, we know about it in game, so we should be there in game. We all have real life to deal with, and that cannot be held against us. Also, since you guys decided to straight up attack is this really a " Stealthy " mission? I would now consider this your average war claim. )

((Hrm... Im kinda an impatient person (its in my nature) but part of the reason I chose Alras was because of the fact that it has a higher playerbase (that is online at any given time) Ill post a couple of dates and let have a vote on it.

1. 4/6/2012 -Friday at 9:00ish PM EST

2. 4/7/2012 -Saturday at 9:000ish PM EST

3. 4/8/2012 -Sunday at 8-9ish PM EST

4. 4/14/2012 -Saturday at 9:00ish PM EST

5. Any given weekday from now until the 14th.

MY only problem with this is that if it is pushed back to a later date i dont want it to be forgotten about to the point where i would have to be sending people 2-3 PM's just to make sure they know to be a this place at this time, not to mention that if it was pushed back i would then have to go and PM all of those who i have already. But as always ill leave it up to the general consensus of the playerbase.))

(( Well, you and Syrio should sit down and discuss all of the terms. It'd be easier, and 4/14/2012 would be the best date for all of us. It's better to do on a friday before the weekend, and even better if it is not on Easter weekend. Besides, this is a war we're talking about. Again, contact Syrio through forum PM's so you guys can properly discuss the terms. ))

Ha! We are doing our best to bring people BACK to Alras. Also, this has nothing to do with the playerbase. It is between you, Syrio, and whichever staff member approves this war claim.

((In response to PtahWithin all nations are doing there best to bring people back to Alras however I didnt choose to do the heist on Normandor did I? or Renatus or Hanseti, the list goes on. Simply put I chose the Nation which would accommodate the largest populace of players that are on at any given time Hence the most active Nations, Granted Alras isnt the MOST active Nation however i found that if performed on Solace per se things would have quickly gotten to chaotic (as they are getting to be right now unfortunately -_- Hopefully WE can get all issues and problems ironed out expeditiously so as to allow for the quicker enactment of this Heist, Pillage, Event, Call it whatever you want.

Keep in mind: if you plan on using explosives and such (we have dozens of cannons and 8 trebuchets) you will need GMs to work those.

I'm all for this event, it'd just be more organized if you and Syrio discussed everything properly and released confirmed information for us that was accepted by both parties. Like the date, the time, the way things will work out.

Agreed, this should be a rule for the War Dec's forum, No war dec should be declared until both sides have agreed to enact the event, and details on how the event will play out. Then the war dec's forum should be used to gather everyone input on date/time, and any minor changes to the Event itself. This is to save you from having to personally PM everyone to confirm.
