Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I’m a good student and involved in playing tennis and acting in theater. I’m pretty good at math and I’m very excited to join LOTC.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: About 10 hours.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is assuming the life of someone else and acting as they would act. In Roleplaying you have to go along with what you know your character would do. Even if you have a different goal in mind. I have not personally roleplayed before but from what I know about it, it will be lots of fun.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Like I said I have not done any roleplaying before but I have played many games of Dungeons & Dragons which is a bit like roleplaying.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is using other sources to aid in gameplay.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming is when your character does something completely unrealistic or impossible within the context of the game. An example could be something like this: A weak old beggar suddenly swipes an orc in the neck, an elf kills a bandit while he had been chained up, a halfling being chased down by a group of Orcs suddenly has power over the sea.

What do you expect this server will be like?: It will be very stimulating, creative, and will give me much pleasure. It will add a whole other level to Minecraft.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: None so far.

Character Name: Elro Staghorn

What Race are you?: Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Wood Elf

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Elro Staghorn was born in a coastal village in Aegis with his twin brother Elandorr Staghorn. ((Elandorr Staghorn is actually already an active player of Lord of the Craft, I’m his younger brother in real life))

His mother died at his and his brother’s birth. Their father was a scholar of the village and also a well practiced archer. They were taught by their father how to wield the bow, and also much more of his wisdom of how to live an everyday life. These skills Elro found most useful later in life.

When his brother was older he left their village and into the forest. It was a sad day for Elro because he stayed behind. In the years following his brother’s departure, Elro continued to practice his archery but it was not the same without his brother by his side. Five years later, torn between his village and father and his dear brother he decided to follow his brother into the forest. He said goodbye to his village and his father and set off.

At first, Elro was not very good at surviving in the wilderness. He was very hungry for long periods of time. Soon though, his hunting and survival skills changed for the better and he could hunt and cook for himself quite well. Elro never ceased traveling. He searched for an entire year for his brother.

After the year of living in the forest and training with his bow was done, Elro arrived at the Cloud Temple of Aegis hoping to find his brother there. Sadly he found out that the citizens of Aegis were evacuating to a land far away called Asulon due to the undead. When he arrived he hoped to find his brother. Elro, now age 274, is still searching for him to this day.

Elro has dark brown hair, thin light-brown eyebrows, and green eyes. He is rather skinny but has built up his strength. He tends to wear light clothing because flexibility and speed are his best friend. Elro is funny, charming, honest, loyal, but sometimes he does not think before he acts and is arrogant. He has a horrible fear of squid after a rather odd encounter with one in a forest lake. Elro doesn’t admit it, but he can also sometimes be a bit greedy.

What is your Character's ambitions?: Elro would like a respectable position in a guild one day, preferably an archer. He would also like to go on a great adventure.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Most definitely the bow.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: Archery

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?: Elro quickly pulls out his bow, not thinking about calling guards, and releases a speeding arrow that hurls itself into the taller warriors’s exposed shoulder. Elro was careful not to kill him. The warrior shouts in pain and falls to the ground. The other warrior, worried about his own life, quickly runs. Elro shouts to him,”If you are wise ... do not return!” He lets the first warrior slowly crawl away. He does not like to kill.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?: “I’m looking for a sturdy bow, and well built arrows.” Elro smiles,” My last bow has been broken beyond repair.” The shop owner grins, exposing his perfect white teeth, “Aye. Lucky for you, I ‘ave one bow remaining ... oh and a stack o’ elven arrows.” The shop owner pauses,”That’ll be 100 minas for the bow, and 1 mina per arrow.” Elro thinks for a moment,”I’ll take the bow, and ... fifty arrows please.” He takes out 150 minas and carefully counts them making sure that it is the correct amount. He then hands the money over and the man gives Elro his new bow and arrows. Then shop owner smiles, “Farewell! Pleasure doing business with ye!”

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Elro would leave the chest alone, even though he tells himself that the objects inside of the chest would be very useful. Elro will never steal, even if it is a life and death situation. He leaves the hut without a second thought.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?: “Hello, I am in great need of food, do you know where I might buy some?” One of the traders walks up to Elro and tells him, ”There is a bar close to here, just walk straight down the road.” Elro gives the man a few minas for his help and follows his words which leads him to small bar where he has his first good meal in a long time.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Immediately, Elro thinks of the good opportunity to do a good deed while showing off his skill with the bow. Elro then volunteers and begins to hunt down the bandits. He returns soon after, reporting the bandits ... dead.
