MC Username: Pengepi

Rp Username (be sure to include the correct prefix, look up on info thread): S'Raanar

Character Skillset:

Swords: 28

Fishing: 7

Archery: 25

S'Raanar is a young Kharajyr, with little experience other than what he's needed to use - defence and finding food. He has often practised with a sword, occasionally with a bow, and likes to fish in his spare time - if he has any. He hasn't seen or done very much, only what has been required in his simple life of survival.

Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender): S'Raanar is a 17 year old Kha'Pantera male, with a large scar through his right eye and an iron ring through his right ear. His black fur is smooth but unkempt, and his eyes have an oddly wise look about them. He is rather muscular, but short for his age due to lack of food. He is quite agile.

Personality: He is easily angered, fears axes, and enjoys sleeping, being alone, running, and hunting. He also fears male Kha'Tigrasi, and will often stroke the scar down the right side of his face. He is a bit obsessed with his appearance, always stopping to look at his reflection, and enjoys conversation when he can't be alone. He'll often play about with the ring in his right ear while he thinks, and he likes to jump and climb and try to get to places where he's not supposed to be. He likes being at places of high altitude, and enjoys looking at the stars and night sky. He will usually scratch his ear when he's annoyed, and his tail will sway when any emotion gets to an extreme level.

Please include a short bio of your character's life: At birth, S'Raanar was orphaned. He walked the streets alone, as he still does, and got in many fights. Once he was attacked by an axe-wielding Kha'Tigrasi, and he still carries a long scar down his face from the tragic event.

The Tigrasi

S'Raanar was walking, begging for donations of food. He walked toward a muscular-looking Kha'Tigrasi, asking for a donation. "You want food? How do you like stone?" The Tigrasi brought a large stone axe down on S'Raanar's forehead, leaving a long scar, as well as unconsciousness.

Waking Up

S'Raanar woke up, still laying in the streets. The place was empty, and he was hungry and alone. He continued his search for food, scrambling to his feet. He finds a puddle, in which he looks at his reflection, finding a long, partially-closed wound running over his right eye.

We Meet Again

As S'Raanar walked, he saw a familiar figure. The Kha'Tigrasi was holding a sword, staring right at him. S'Raanar tried to walk away, stepping on a twig. The Tigrasi turned. "You again..." S'Raanar stands slowly, the Tigrasi charging at him, the sword aimed for his head. S'Raanar ducks to the side, the sword catching his ear.

Explanations

"Who are you?" S'Raanar asked the large Tigrasi. "And what do you want with me?" The Tigrasi looked at S'Raanar, and spoke quietly. "Your mother abandoned me for that... that idiot, your father... I killed them both for it." The Tigrasi smiled evilly, as S'Raanar runs away, crying quietly.

Learning to Fight

S'Raanar had come across some iron on his travels, and crafted a sword to the best of his abilities - It was a crude combination of sticks and a deformed blade. But it would have to do. As S'Raanar wandered, he saw an orange flicker behind some tall grass. He ran over, his tail catching on the branch of a tree. He fell, making a loud noise, attracting the attention of the Kha'Tigrasi who had killed his parents. As the Tigrasi walked toward him, axe in hand, S'Raanar pulled his makeshift sword from his back quickly, and hit the Tigrasi across the head with the flat of the blade, knocking back the large Tigrasi. S'Raanar aimed a clumsy kick at the Tigrasi's face before running off. S'Raanar enjoyed using this sword, and thinks to himself "I should use this more." as he purrs softly, walking back to where he was sleeping.

Looking for Food

It had been three weeks since S'Raanar had eaten. He was starving terribly, his stomach growling at him constantly. He could focus on nothing but food. As he walked along, looking for food, he found a small, shiny object. He picked up what, on further investigation, appeared to be an iron ring. Using a puddle as a mirror, he inserted it into the wound on his ear, thinking to himself "This looks good."

Finding Food, At Last

S'Raanar had a stroke of luck, as he walked around on his search for food. A fisherman was having his shop shut down, and gave S'Raanar enough fish to last him for a week. He thanked the fisherman, happy now, and wandered around once more.

High Places

Sitting atop a tall tree, S'Raanar smiled to himself as he bit into one of the fish. "This is great." He thought to himself, enjoying the lonely comfort of the tree. "I like it up here." S'Raanar thought, as he bit into the fish again happily. He purred softly as he fell asleep.

Feeling Pain

S'Raanar woke up with his head against the ground, having rolled out of the tree in his sleep. He growled, looking for whatever had pushed him out, before deciding that it had most likely himself. He stood up, rubbed his sore head, and wandered for a bit.

That finishes up his life so far.

Character's ambitions: Raanar wants to survive. He wants food, and a place to sleep occasionally. He dreams of becoming rich and famous, and having a nice home. He wants to become a famous hunter or warrior, and lead the Kharajyr into wars with the other races. He also has less violent, smaller dreams of settling down and becoming a fisherman.

_---Situational Rp Questions---_

1.

As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?: S'Raanar looks at the human, unsure what it is. He pokes it. S'Raanar shakes his head, as if to say "No food, nothing.". He looks at the odd creature with his yellow-green eyes, trying to work out what it is. S'Raanar opens his mouth to yawn, and the human seems to take this as a threat of some sort. S'Raanar backs away, stumbling over a few twigs, before running as fast as he can on his agile legs, unsure what the strange creature could do. As S'Raanar runs, he imagines the creature beginning to fly and spit fire at him, and runs faster.

2.

As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak.

"Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!"

He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?: S'Raanar feels very offended, and pulls his sword from his back, growling gently. S'Raanar glares at the Dwarf. "How do you like the feel of iron, small man?" S'Raanar has quite clearly offended the Dwarf, who draws his weapon. S'Raanar steps toward the Dwarf, before the people in the tavern attempt to break up the fight. He begins to growl as the tavernkeeper comes out from behind the counter. He grips his sword tighter, worried that somebody will attack him, and looks around warily. People begin to draw their arms and, feeling threatened, S'Raanar sheathes his weapon, bares his teeth, growls, and leaves.

3.

One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response? "You have betrayed the Kharajyr and disgraced them. You have no honour. How can you even call yourself a Kharajyr?" S'Raanar calls for a guard, growling at the old friend, "You... You are a murderer." S'Raanar glares at the Kharajyr, bares his teeth, and slams the door on the traitor. As S'Raanar looks outside, he notices that the traitor is still there and reopens the door. "Leave. Now!" S'Raanar places his hand on the handle of his sword, growling, as he steps outside, baring his teeth threateningly. As the traitor leaves, S'Raanar purrs slightly, walks inside, and gets back to his nap.

Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred? Yes.
