*Talias walks up to the once listening to nelecars speach*

So Nelecar finaly got what he wanted 3 mali'aheral less in the silver city and all becuase of things that he belives to be true we never planed to kill him. Killing a mali'aheral is an act of impureity and is not for the betterment of the city we have long wished for a new okarir'sil however we wanted it to go by a piblic vote a peaceful way to handle the problem we were sick of hearing of people geting thorwn into prison for calling Nelecar by name insted of titel having people taken away for days to be interrogated we did not want to live in fear of a man who does what ever he wants while the council does nothing about it

We never ploted aginst the council, we talked of a piblic vote to get an okarir replaced.

we never planed to kill a council member even though it would be the easyest way

we never commited treason unless it's treason to speak bad about a council member

So if the mali'aheral wish to forever live in fear of a tyrant so be it I cannot change thair minds but I hope you'll see that what he does is wrong and that he is not fit for the power he possess

*watching from the background, he smirks. From beneath his hood, he calls out*

"So, is this woman's baby /eliminated/?"

<3 you too.))

"Lies and slander, all of it. You, a man who hides behind his wife? Accuses me? You would have us become a democracy? The people do not vote on okarirs - that is folly and flawed."

*As Caelan tunes his lute, he looks up and notices the debate between those thrown out of the city, and Nelecar. Feeling bold, he stands up and makes a statement*

Okarir'sil of Haelun'or, I do understand the qualm of delving our peoples into a democracy, or as I would put a mobcracy. Granting power to every common person and bestowing "mob rule" would cause bicker and discontent along with inefficient leadership.

However, I do feel that in order to avoid corruption of the kings, princes, and tyrants of which many may have fled, perhaps some power should be vested in prominent citizens of literacy and wealth, to have representatives represent them in the council. A republican ideology, of sorts.

It is a merely an idea from a fellow Mali'aheral. I do not agree with the banishment of these men, for they have fought and nearly died for our peoples, but I shall not protest. I do wish that these supposed criminals were bestowed a public trial, as they are Mali'aheral and deserve that right.

*sits back down, and munches on an apple, curious of Nelecar's reply*

(A public trial RP Event? Would be quite interesting.)

((Wait, I thought I was the only assassin friend in Haelun'or q-q))

*Relgard looks to the man from the crowd, disgust hidden behind his hood. Kalzhett was his friend, and Relgard does not appreciate those who slander his friends.

Relgard walks from the scene, to send a bird to his friend, and to don his red robes.*

A large notice was later pinned up for all to see, carrying below it the ornate 'E' that denotes the Elsiol bloodline.

ahern ito nae'leh, okarir'sil Nelecar, evarir'Haelun'or miarsair'kathiran'ehya,

Heavy is my heart, and heavier it grows with each letter I carve into this plaque, like stitches in an open wound. Long have I overlooked your paranoia, shot down the countless claims of those who called you heartless. Long have I defended you from those who called you bitter, and was outraged by those with the nerve to call you unfit. I thought of you with nothing but respect, my keeper: a great elf, a staunch defender, and a mighty protector of the Silver City.

But your paranoia has broken through any restraint, shattered any corral. You have for too long antagonized the pure Mali'aheral of Haelun'or, instilled into them a terror and fright to walk the streets of the city where they felt safest. These Mali'aheral, the pure souls that you swore to serve and protect, would be more scared of you than the enemies beyond our walls.

Yet this all falls into nothingness compared to the decree you hoped to pass today.

The banishment of these citizens is to be overturned. You think that you have unyielding authority, that you can decide for the entire city to abandon its nurtured and loving citizens. You would deny any who will challenge you on this: Not me, not the council, not the pure citizens in our blessed walls. You know somewhere that you are wrong, but your jaded pride does not allow you to see it. Your accusations are lies, spawned by your warped and envious mind, and if you would only allow us to take the matter into a public trial it would be proven.

I will not allow you to turn your back on Haelun'ors citizens, banish those who wish to live among us in peace, just as I will not allow the city to abandon you now. You have strayed off the right path, taken your station and duty too far. In the presence of the hallowed ancestors, you will be brought to the light once again.

Your old friend and sister-in-arms,

- Ellir'siol

Halerame sighs heavily as he hears Nelecar's words, and mutters under his breath, "Damnation, man...Why not get rid of useless citizens? At least these are capable and willing to defend our home.."

Upon seeing the plaque, he nods approvingly, making a note to talk to Ellir in the near future.
