"We see a new home on the horizon. We stop our caravans and set up our tents. We quickly understood that our first task was to take the City of Rienna. A notice was given to them, stating that they now resided in Seventis land and therefore their settlement belonged to us. Fearing that a rebellion would occur, I recruited the orcs of the Mighty War Nation and they were very eager to raid the walls of Rienna. However, soon enough, we noticed that the city was already dead. Weeks past and not a single soul was seen on their walls. One day, we ventured inside and realised that the settlement was completely abandoned with the exception of one man, Tiberius. Tiberius was the last remaining citizen of Rienna as was about the leave anyway. He decided, instead of mustering whatever troops he could, to sign over the city to the Kingdom of Seventis, thus, preventing any bloodshed. When I had informed the orcs who had agreed to fight with us, they were quite disappointed.

Because Rienna was acquired through peaceful matters, King Renati agreed to repopulate the city instead of burning it to the ground. The next task was quickly apparent as soon as we began to travel to the Northwest. There was another settlement, this one was different however. Only one building sat within its borders and it was surrounded by small and overgrown fields of wheat. After a bit of research, we came to the conclusion that this was what remained, or rather what became, of the previous settlement named 'Nornheim'. Further research showed us that it once belonged to the mostly disbanded, Knights of the North. In the end, we realised that only one soul remained and they had rebuilt the town to fit their own needs. Farther North, we spotted a hillside that would be the perfect location for the new home of the Fairfield citizens. However, Nornheim was too close and we set up another camp just over the river. We provided a notice to whomever resided in Nornheim and we waited for their response. Weeks past without any sightings of sentient life still living in Nornheim and so we had officially declared that it was abandoned just like Rienna was. Due to the fact that it was an empty mansion, serving no purpose but to prevent us from settling Tyr, we claimed it as our own and that we could therefore do what we'd like with it."

* A notice is pinned to the oak support beam outside Nornheim's central building *

"You reside in Seventis land now. Either give up the land or you will be assimilated. The people of Nornheim conflict with the interests of the Kingdom of Seventis. You have 5 elven days to send us your white flag or we will force you to raise it."

Signed, Ursolon Ironheart

EDIT: Even though so many people have complained about how I'm going about these things, I'm not cancelling this war claim. If i can't get in touch with the leaders of Nornheim, I'll be forced to make a war claim anyway, and thus wait another 5 days. If you control Nornheim, speak up.

((I thinks it better this way. The more conflict the better. Don't be diplomatic, be the bigger stick and beat adjacent settlements into submission.))

((Good roleplay. Take it too far, though, and the Coalition might turn around and do to you what it did to Salvus. No one likes imperialists.))

Very lacking roleplay, but it is on you lands.. And As you say it is inactive, even so Denied, better roleplay is needed.

((I used to be a member of the Knights back when Nornheim was still a fortress and before I reset my character to make Thorgar, I was their cook. The group died out because people either left or became ridiculously inactive, and that includes their leader, and current "owner" of The mansion that is now there.))
