The Desert Military began as a whisper in the wind from the east, A rumor, an idea that if spoken any louder then a whisper. It would vanish, that is how fragile this future Empire was. Eventually the rumors of this mysterious, fictional empire were soon forgotten to the minds of Asulon and the inhabitants of the world had no care in the news of this rumor any longer. Weeks turned to months, months turned to years, years turned to Decades until eventually word of the Empire had completely vanished.

Whilst word of the forgotten Empire from Aegis was abandoned, There was a man named Dastain from the borders of Alras and the Orcish Nation who had claimed to be the Descendant of King Dastor, the Great King of the Desert Military in the times of Aegis. He would tell stories to the Citizens of Alras of how the Desert Military would power the lands of the Desert with their Bulkish armies and Tactical Leadership. The locals were intrigued of the stories Dastain would tell and eventually began to write books and scrolls of the Desert people. Word of the Desert Military slowly began to creep into peoples ears once again until the Desert Military was now a hope. Hope that the Military would rise once more and give freedom to the people of the Desert.

Which brings us to now. Recently in the Markets of Alras a toned man with robes and clothing of vibrant colours stands on a trading crate in the middle of the street and unravels a scroll with jagged edges. He reads it aloud, his eyes panning side to side and takes a breath.

"People of Asulon, The Desert Empire has returned!

Dastain and his men are reuniting here in Asulon in the Deserts of the East and send this message out to any Humans of any combat skill that wish to trial for this growing power. If you believe that you are not being used to your full potential in the life you live in now then start a new with the Desert Military!"

The man finishes reading and steps off the crate and wonders down the road with his head held high and his scroll under his arm. There is however a Marking on the back of his neck. A scar in the shape of a Scorpion wish tempered personality. This is the sign of the Desert Military that each soldier must have when fully in the Ranks.

Ranks

Tiro ~ The Tiro is a soldier in training, A Soldier under the watch of the Tutor and when the Tutor decides that Tiro is ready then he/she will be passed on wards to their Magister for full on training sessions where they will then be a Soldaire.

Soldaire ~ A Soldaire is a Soldier in the Desert Military. The bulk of the army and in most ways the most important. Where is an Empire without it's Army? The Soldaire will fight as this rank until the Magister decides he/she is ready to then be a Arquaire

- Patrol when and where told

- Prepare to answer the call of their Magister or higher

- Serve the Military

Arquaire ~ An Arquaire is practically a Soldaire that has proved themselves in battle and shown to the Magister that they are ready to fight as a higher title in the ranks of the Desert Military. This rank has also the privilege to be relieved of their Patrol duty.

*Duties

- Prepare to answer the call of their Magister or higher

- Serve as a full time Guard to Lord Dastain

- Serve the Military

Centaire ~ A Centaire acts as a Junior Veteran in the ranks of the Military. Their job is to go outside the city and patrol around the Nations and seek activity in the other Nations. This is not spying, more looking and interacting with outside life to the Desert Military.

- Go where their Magister tells them to

- Find out what the Magister wants to find out.

- Serve the Military

Vetaire ~ A Vetaire is Veteran to the Desert Military. They are their own Leader and have limited duties however exploition to this privilege results into demotion.

Elite ~ The Elite's are the men/women who are only sent on special and secretive missions appointed by the Lord. These elite people are rarely found and are of high importance within the Military.

Tutor ~ A Tutor is a Trainer of the Military. A person who trains the new Tiro's who enter and decides when they can be passed onward to Soldaire.

Magister ~ A Magister is one of two Magister's. These people are the advisers of the Lord and are mainly in charge of the Military activity. They answer only to the Lord.

Lord ~ There is only one Lord and the Lord is in control of the Military as a whole. He would tell the Magister's what he thinks must be done in the Military and the Magister's will do so. Whatever the Lord decides is final.

Biography:

As a boy Jup lived with his family in the previous city for the Desert Military as a Tiro. As he had just turned 16 the Boy was able to be a Tiro. His Father served as an Elite for the Military and was their prize soldier. However one day during the battle against the Undead Keep in old Aegis whilst the Desert Military assisted the frey. After the battle was ended and the armies collected the injured and dead, Jup's father was nowhere to be found to the Military. King Dastor ordered the men to keep searching and the search went on for hours. Then a Soldaire came from the horizon holding another man in his arms. As they arrived at the army it was obvious that Jup's father was the man in the Soldaire's arms. Jup's father handed a note to King Dastor to pass to Jup and the Note read.

"Join the Military Jup, Avenge me"
