The Druids

Back in your day, Jameson, many of the old ways had not yet been revealed to the order, and the first generation of Druids floundered without direction. As for this Neo-Druidism... you will trust your faith to an old coot who should be dead? He is so old, what makes you think anything he says is viable?

Ouity looks at Morek sharply

Do not believe that pair, they will only drag you down with their lies.

Quincy rushes up to Ouity and tugs on the clothing at his hip eagerly.

"But... Jameson is the nicest ever!"

Overhears Ouincy and turns back to Ouity

It is not that, my friend. I fear that with the return of John and the conflict between James' beliefs, something might occur that should not be.

Just a word of caution, as I say.

Sighs quickly and attempts to answer Ouincy's question vaguely.

Yes, Ouincy, something about a yelling.

((Please note that John has not returned, this was handled OOCly, but any such interaction with him should be retconned (aka erased) John is still dead and will not resurrect.))

All I am saying is, where is the proof? Every single time we have called to them we have heard nothing.

Isn't the power to use Nature at their command, healing people, and understanding Nature unlike any other enough?

"No, no! We don't have the power! Jameson said the power was in the world and the world lets us use it!"

"But won't the world take our powers if we use it bad?"

It is mortal to think of things as good and bad, The world does not see time in this way.

Enough of this talk! You all bicker like first day Dedicants, unsure of the most basic principles of Druid idealology! If you cannot bring yourself to have faith in the Aspects after all you have seen and done in the Druids, I will personally sever your link, and throw you out of the grotto myself! Enough of this rubbish! The Aspects, as you all should know, are the physical embodiements of nature. Avatars representing everything you see around you, from the desert cactus to a lush jungle tree.

Bah! Listen. There are just some things that I see different than others...So does Petyr, and John did. And Quincy, calm yourself. I will not go on about my beliefs. I will keep them to myself. But if others choose the path I did, you should not stop them, let them choose for themselves. *he walks out of the Grove, staff in hand, then disappears in the distance*
