I am an average 16 year old. I like to play Sports and video games. More specifically soccer and Minecraft. I enjoy the outdoors, but also enjoy meeting new friends on servers such as this.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Around 15 hours per week.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is letting your imagination run free. Taking in that around you, becoming something or someone else, acting as that character would do based of of their emotions or background, not yours or real life things. It is fun, challenging, and a good time.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I used to play on LoTC a while back, but left for RL reasons.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-Gaming is taking outside information and using it Ingame. It could be something as simple as knowing somebodys name without asking it, or something as major as knowing who is the rebel leader. Either way, it is no fun for anybody and should be avoided at all times.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Power-Gaming is enhancing yourself to have an unfair advantage. Such as making yourself invincible, or making yourself 20 feet tall and super strong. This is also not fun for anybody and should be avoided at all times.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect this server to be a fun, ever changing roleplay experience where I will meet new friends, new enemies, new Adventures, and new challenges.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

Lord of the craft, Killion Detention Center, Intoxicated, Hunger Games servers, and some small survival servers. I left them for many reasons, most being I had outside issues that I needed to handle, or I got bored and searched for a new experience.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Before you learn about Alastors life, you first must learn the life of his family. His mother Alis had recently found a lover, Sotar. Alis and Sotar lived together for many years, being the most loving couple you could imagine. Over time, Alis longed for a child, a son infact. Sotar not wanting one did all he could to avoid it. But, as time grew on Alis became ill, gravely ill. Her only wish before she died was to have a son to carry on the name of her husband. Sotar finally gives in, and agrees to have a child. This, is when Alastor was born. Alis gave her life, to bring in a life. She past away during birth. From the first moment Alastor came to this world, he had a full head of hair, unusual but not out of the ordinary. Sotar took Alis's Death very hard, and became a major drunk. He did the best he could while he was sober to rais Alastor, but he wasn't sober. Alastor was left to fend for himself, not having any other family that his father new about. He was only 6 when he learned how to plow the field. How to grow, mend, and harvest the crops. He enjoyed farming very much, agriculture was the one thing that could take him away from his horrible life, and set him free to let his mind wander. At the age of 10, he got a small job working for the bakery. He supplied all the wheat, dough, and grain needed. On his 14 birth year, he met a girl named Lorla. She was a very special girl, more than anyother. Her life was also just as bad at home as his was. They both agreed to run away, and find a new life beyond their borders. As they set out, a group of bandits came up, taking everything they had with them. As they where searching Lorla, she became difficult. After a short brawl, she was dead, the bandits where running, and Alastor was alone, once again. This is where his life continues, this is where he hopes to find security and happiness.

He is searching for happiness, hoping to become a well known farmer.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Calls for the guards to stop, " Guards! Stop harassing this poor bow! He hasnt done anything to you, nor the king!" After realizing that these corrupt guards will not be swayed from their intent to steal from the boy, he falls back to his farm. Alastor wishes to be tough, but it just isnt him. He can not fight, nor command with power. He is soft, kind, and stays to himself. He is no person to stop two trained guards. As he sulks back to his farm, he worries about how the boy is fending.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Hello sir how are you this fine day? Im looking to sell my bundle of wheat. *Hold up wheat pile*. I was hoping you might be interested. *The merchant either accepts or declines* Well thank you anyways, also might you perhaps have a golden hoe for trade? I really should get a new one.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Hm, it looks abandoned, but there is still some tools here. perhaps the owner of the house is just a bit messy and doesnt clean up. Ill leave some bread for him, I do hope he is alright. *sets some bread on the counter*

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Oh my, I really have no clue what you are saying, perhaps this will help to say im friendly. *Hold out a piece of bread, bowing slightly to show he means no harm* Take this, you look very hungry. "Perhaps you need help harvesting your crops?"

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

While Alastor is no fighter, he has recently harvested an extra big bushel of wheat. He is more than happy to help supply the troops with food. "Here" he says, "Take this, the guards need it to keep them energized".

Your powergaming definition seems to show poor understanding of the term perhaps research the term more carefully, and expand upon it.

Half of your biography is about your parents, please expand upon the half that actually contains your character. Please add in lore-related material, and break the biography up into paragraphs and make it visually pleasing to read.

Your ambition lacks substance, please expand upon it.

Why is the hoe his favored tool? You didn't elaborate much on his farming before he ran away in the biography, please make it more clear.

Your open response questions all are rather short and could do with some expansion. Open response questions are your opportunity to show us the application team your mettle as a roleplayer and give us, the application team, the first taste of your character. Please do not get lazy on this!
