Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: My name is Alex and I like roleplay servers and Minecraft. I have lots of ideas and am very creative.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: At least 12 hours.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplay is getting into character and becoming that character.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I used to play on 1 RolePlay server and I had a few lessons on spontaneous Roleplay in my Drama lessons in school.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Metagaming is where you find out something to do with the game outside of the roleplay such as somebody's base's coords.

Eg: Bob talks to his friend Fred on Out of Character chat, but they have never met in-game before. Bob then finds out Fred's IGN and when he sees him he immediately says "Hey Fred. How you doing?" to him, even though in theory he's never met the person before.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power gaming is when you make a character that is perfect in every way and can perform feats that are near-impossible. IMHO I think it's stupid as characters should have flaws, like everybody on the planet does.

What do you expect this server will be like?: Well, I played on a server hosted by Vaquxine before and it was an amazing experience so I think this will be the same or even better! (Probably the latter)

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I play on my friend's server where I give about 1 hour of my time every day. I left another server because the Admin was a ******. I was happily mining away when he used a command that moved me up 600 blocks and sent me falling to my death.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes Sir.

How did you hear about us? Did someone refer you?: I got talking to Vaquxine on Skype and he told me about the server.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

((I done this in the style of an interview, I just thought it would be easier.))

You want me to tell you about my life? Well, let me get straight to the point of my life. It is rubbish. I grew up in a fishing village with my parents, not far from Arerthor. I was always a little lad full of michief, being rude both to grown-ups and my friends. At the age of 14, my family got killed by Orcs while I was at the market with my Uncle. That's what I was told, I didn't see their corpses so there might have been survivors. Clichéd, right? What can I do? It's the orcs we have to blame. They kill everything in their way. That's why I hate them. I hate every piece of them. Don't get me wrong, it's not a mad killing frenzy where I want to murder every Orc I see. Obviously if I saw a group of heavily-armored orcs and all I had was a wooden sword, I would just run away into the mist.

Enough of me ranting about why I hate orcs. Let's get onto my hobbies and skills. I am a proffesional fisherman as that's the trade I got taught by my parents. After I ran away from the Orcs, I decided to learn the art of archery. I know what you're thinking! 'Archery is an elven thing.' I know. But guess who trained me? Elves. I got taught archery by elves. It's a pretty funny story actually. I was wandering off wherever my feet would take me and while swimming I stumbled along a huge tree. And not those 8 metre tall trees that sometimes grow around forests, mind you. That one was huge! It stretched all the way to the sky. I couldn't believe my own eyes. I had heard the stories from my grandfather. I had just stumbled upon Normandor. To cut a long story short, I got captured by the elves and led to their commander. I explained my story and I think he was having a good day, as he taught me basic archery. I became one with the tree. I learnt their ways and I became respected. That's why I have such good ties with them. Have i mentioned that before? Oh well... Onto more recent stuff.

Whilst travelling from Normandor back to Arerthor to see if anybody had heard word of my uncle, who was in the market while the Orcs raided my village, I got stopped by three bandits. They encircled me and one of them yelled at me. "Hand over your stuff or we'll take it by force." I felt my pockets. Gold ingots. Don't want to be losing that I thought. "Why don't you come and get it?" I replied. The one that yelled at me took out his sword and charged. I rolled sideways at the last possible moment and then quickly got up and ran away towards the town. Another bandit jumped out of a bush and threw a rope around my feet. I tripped fell onto the road. The bandits took everything, including my bow. They then untied me and beat me up. I was unconcious.

After what seemed like eternity I came about and quickly crawled to town. The later stuff is pretty boring. Let's just say that I found a new bow and made lots of enemies.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

My ambitions? Well... I want to kill some Orcs, that's for sure. *smirk* I want to carry on training archery and make some friends who won't stab me in the back when I'm asleep or crafting some tools. I certainly want to explore the land and make my own piece of heaven somewhere in the wilderness, but that's for later. I've got orcs to kill, don't I?

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

My weapon of choice is the bow. It is a long-distance weapon and in skilled hands can be lethal. I've been using it for over 10 years now and I like to think that I'm at least Intermediate. I prefer recurve bows over normal bows, but it seems the magic of this cubic world doesn't let me make recurve bows. Oh well... The regular bow will have to do.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

As I mentioned, I am very good at archery and at fishing. I know the basics of woodcutting and mining but I prefer to trade my way around life. You never know, someday I might have my little own fishing village. As my father used to say, "Give a man a fish and he can eat for a day. Give a man a fishing rod and he'll make his way to fortune. Then probably lose it all."

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

I walk up to the armed warriors and say "You need any help boys? Want me to hold him down or something?". I then grin at them in a friendly way.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

I smile politely and say "Nothing, thanks. Have a nice day!". I then walk on where I was heading.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

I'd take the stuff and put a sign saying "Thanks, Idiot."

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

I ask them for some food and arrows and give them something in return if I have something of value.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

I say that I'll try and negotiate with the bandits. When I get to the bandits' camp I will try to ask them if I can pay them a bribe for them to leave me alone. (If they don't kill me trying to get into thier camp.)
