In your own words, define what the act of Roleplaying is:

I would describe the act of Roleplaying as the acting of a character to make a story that those around you can help make more interesting. When Roleplaying you need to make sure you keep to your character's ambitions and not mix any out of character emotions in with your character.

In your own Words, define what the act of Metagaming is:

Metagaming is the use of out of character information in a role play environment. All information your character receives should be roleplayed out

*goes on TeamSpeak and Learns of some Secret government operation and tells people in character*

In your own Words, define what the act of Powergaming is:

Powergaming is the act of making your character able to do things he shouldn't, this makes your character more powerful or over powered.

*has a broken leg and wins a marathon!*

In-Character:

Character Name: Isaac Per’Menthius

What Race are you?:Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race:(High-Elf

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.:(

*You are an excavator and scholar traveling through the deserts north of the elven nation. While walking out of a desert village with a cold beverage in your hand, you come across something strange. It’s a tablet written in coded ancient elven! You being a scholar knowing ancient elven crudely, and can make out that the code is written backwards. You read aloud:*

“ The Journal of the Lost Per’Menthius "

"I, Isaac Per’Menthius was born both Low and High-Elf, in the years before the first era. I have been abroad in the lands of dust and sand, the dust is my roof and the sands are my walls. The broken family crest of the green, and of the dirt. I, Isaac Per’Menthius am one! The one and only Per’Menthius, and I choose solitude, among my books and tablets, in the sand and dust, My Lost Library!”

*the tablet is broken at the bottom, but you find more in the sand and continue reading:*

"My family!, Ha, those inarticulate, disjointed, garbled beings! My family is in the books now! Along with all those who wanted me to be the ‘Man of the Family’ or the ‘successor of Father’. I laugh at my father's work! A cobbler! And his father a cobbler too! My mother was sweet, she never harmed me for one moment, probably because she died giving birth, while my dolt of a father gave the, oh so terribly tragic, birth procedure.

While my idiot father wanted me to be his apprentice, I declined and pursued the course of being a keeper of knowledge, more so of the mystical arts. In my youth, all who practiced this knowledge was executed for being a witch! It’s quite funny how they never realized that they had the potential to be one too, they only killed the witches because they were blessed by the almighty God and his sacred beings."

*The rest of the tablet is scorned as if someone did not want you to read it, but that someone forgot to get rid of a few words, they say:*

"I only want to find my library, and maybe perhaps share my knowledge with others who are willing."

What is your Character's ambitions?:

Isaac wants to establish a library filled with mystical works, to share with his willing companions.

-Rubs his temples-

Not to sound like an overly strict mother, or anything, but this really isn't a game, at least not the application process. Simply because you have already been white-listed on another account does not mean you can be lazy on this one. I will judge this application like any other, and therefore be just as harsh.

Denied.

Your biography lacks lore related materials. What sort of cold beverages exist in the middle ages? What is a low elf?

Your open response questions are lazy. I mean you at least try to get into character, but we are looking for in depth and long answers that give a very clear image of who your character is and how he will respond when we place him in the situations we present. Four lines does not cut it. Please put more effort into the application.

You will be allowed to reapply in twenty four hours, if you have any questions regarding your application feel free to drop a message in my inbox.

Good luck!
