"SKRAVIA 'ATTACKED' The city of Skravia has been recently terrorised by a magical creature of unknown nature. The entity took the form of an old friend of the king through some sort of illusion magic, and proceeded to infiltrate the city, manipulating the trust of the citizens, then, when they were alone and at their most vunerable, attempting to consume their memories to sustain itself. The creature managed to consume a large amount of the memories of the half-orc known as Falkor, and later attempted to consume the memories of the King himself. The creature was discovered in its true form, a grotesque cross between a squid and a wolf, during its attack on the King, and was destroyed. Neither of the victims were killed, but both suffered severe damage to their ability to remember. How did such a creature come to be, and why did it attack Skravia? There are many theories. Some say that such creatures live at the edge of the world and come to feed in times of great toil, some perceive the monster as a manifestation of the Skravian God. The most common theory by far is that the creature was created as a result of Skravia's repeated overuse of most forms of magic, and was born of the damage they were doing by using magic so liberally.
