((Are you suggesting guards that are guarding their city were playing stupid by acting like guards? Just like your characters, the elves of Normandor have their own lore and their own reasons for doing things. As I said before to you guys in TS, in-character actions have in-character consequences. ((We pass through Normandor all the time to get to the cloud temple. A single attack on a citizen is not considered a raid. Let me expalin to you how people are over reacting here...

1. The first time we came was the only raid. We attacked and skinned some people then moved on, all legit RP.

2. The second time the prince insulted us and ordered us about which we didn't like so we attacked but in the end he got away. We attacked a single citizen while passing through. NOT a raid.

3. We came back through Normandor and got shouted out by people everywhere, we went over to the shouting to see if the prince was there so we could teach him a lesson, and it turns out he was. He was in the gatehouse and we were outside. At this point I have heard of people getting upset by our perfectly legit reasons of being there so I said this "Come on, they're not worth it" and we walked off without even harming anybody.

IF and WHEN we actually raid you, you can acuse us of breaking rules but a single attack on a single citizen while we were passing through is not a raid. We went to the gatehouse, saw a load of people and LEFT due to this OOC hate that every villian gets if they try and be evil.

There is enough OOC on this RP thread and I ask you to stop now. If you still have problems, speak to me in a PM and I will go into much greater detail.))

((Something you have to understand, since we have a GM that we speak with alot of the time, we're also under the microscope as well. We follow the rules pretty much to the letter, and the rules that are in question that Tyras has brought up is these two:

If you have recently taken place in an attack on a village or town you are to not return to that settlement looking for a fight until 3 actual days have passed. (72 hours)

A Faction or Guild can only attack a City or nation once every 4 actual days. (96 hours)

What those mean is you cannot keep coming to the same place to 'take out your anger' and even if you are provoked within the time frame, you pretty much have to leave instead of attack.

I've been told that I'm not allowed to have my Sentinels attack a group or faction repeatedly therefore it is only fair that others cannot do the same to us. The nature of the attacks are not what is causing the disagreement, its the lack of following the rules in general.

When you're a leader of a faction you are no longer considered an individual either.

We're not seeking to get you guys in trouble, we're trying to prevent you all from getting into trouble. Because of the nature of this thread and what has happened, screenshots are being requested.

If you disagree with that, you're going to have to speak to the GMs, they are the ones that are about to get involved out of their own volition (in otherwords, we didn't ask them to). I'm just playing messenger here. My advice is to not come back until the 26th, since your last attack was on the 22nd.))

But good for the Kha to finally get some military going. I never though of them to be so formally organized in conquest, more like the traditional Aztec confederacy's conquest under tribal leaders...

((Alright I see where the Elves are coming from. Those of you who were on TS know the stances and opinions of the Kharajyr. While we didn't officially intend to 'raid' you. The instigation from your citizens caused such hostilities to befall them. Like you said, RP has consequences. I'm not trying to be smug in any way just to clarify my intentions as well.

As the new leader of the military, made Aelkos last night, I will attempt to divert the flow of Kha within your city with ships so we have new targets. I as much as you see the deficiency in RP. While fun, doesn't make any sense to be traveling hundreds of miles away over the course of that little amount of time.

From now on any Kha that attack your city before the four day period, please report to me, I will deal with them accordingly. If said same player comes again, notify Tiazar and myself. We will deal with harsher actions accordingly.

I would prefer to keep staff out of this as I think you and I would agree this is simply a small matter of communication conflicts. I would like to remind everyone that no PvP occured within any said 'raids'.

((I want to point out that in my position on this, I'm not questioning the motives behind the attacks, only the frequency, and thats because I just don't like GM's breathing down my neck :P

The other players (elves) have their own opinions and they can voice them to me directly if they have any further issues. But as far as I am concerned, anything that happened in RP was fine. I just get a little perturbed when someone says a guard was being stupid for being a guard... I know a Kha doesn't know culturally what a guard is in elven terms, but the player does OOCly and shouldn't be OOCly calling their intelligence into question. But thats an unrelated matter at this point.))

I'd have to disagree, if the one surviving witness's account is descriptive enough they could still determine your race. As the "cat" people move and act very differently than Dwarves, Mori, or Orcs do. And there methods for skinning and fighting also differ. Although it might never be proven. It can become widely accepted.
