Screams and shouts echo throughout Kal'Anart. An elderly dwarf looks from a large tower at the top of the hold, and scans the cityscape. He spots his target below and yells out, as his face is pumping red, full of rage.

"EY DARAIN! GIT UP 'ERE!"

The latter dwarf, looks up and fires a few quick shots from his bow. Infuriated Bazain runs down the tower with the ferocity of anger pumping through his veins. Bazian runs out through the gates with a switch firmly grasped in his hands and yells some more.

"DARAIN YAH GIT OUT 'ERE 'ND REPAY YER DISRESPECT!"

The mountain grows silent and cold between the various shouting. The only other noise that can be heard is the animals at the farmhouse. Bazian turn towards there, hoping to find the dishonoring dwarf. Bazian slowly walks into the house, floorboards creak underneath. He scratches his beard and finds that hole again where Darain cut a piece off of. Pumped full of fury once again, Bazian lets out a shout.

"AGGHHH! DAMNIT DARAIN!"

Dirt falls from the ceiling and steps can be heard over head. Bazian slowly brushes the dirt from his shoulder and looks up. Hey furrows his brow, and rushes out the door with a switch firmly grasped in hand. He looks up at Darain and yells.

"OI! Stop t'ere!"

Only to have him run off again back into the city. After a game of cat and mouse was played for a while, Bazian stop chasing him and threw his stick to the side. He heads back to his temporary home and doeses off leaning next to some stone outside.

The afternoon sun shines brightly as Bazian layed there, until a shadow is cast over him. Bazian awakes from the sudden change in light from Darain standing over him, diamond armour shining in the light giving off a sparkle. He rubs his eyes and wipes the drool from his beard, then clears his throat and beings to speak with him.

After a long discussion of Darain's actions, Bazian offered him one last choice, rather than losing his Thane position. He said,

"If yah can bring meh seven able bodied fighters t'er act as guards fer meh 'old, ah will allow yah t'er keep yer position as Thane 'nd regain yer 'onor."

Darain nods and agrees to the deal and sets off down the road. A new quest begins for the younger dwarf, as Bazian, in his irritated state, tries to piece back his beard with some slimeballs.

*A dirtiet, bruised and brute looking dwarf approaches Kal'Anart. His clothes are ravaged and his chain mail ripped in several places. As you inspect the dwarf further you see a glint of gold, you look down to his hand in which a golden great axe rests.

There is a grim expression in his eyes and as he gets closer to Kal'Anart he presents himself as "Heroth Braveaxe, Father of Chaecus and brother of Thorik an' Vod." He then continues "Ah 'ear tis is 'ere tae Braveaxes now lives wit' sume other clan. I wish tae greet me brother an' son now."

This char knows nothing that his brothers are both dead and Chaecus aswell, I'll be working some on the braveaxe lore as it is mostly in chaos and there isn't really any traditions explained inn there. [great to have you back thorik :). Well longbeard is still insane… he lives of tree bark and apple juice… but i has a document for the trails! It isnt realy worked out that much but the idea is there. I am almost finished with my test week and then i will try to come back. talk to y'all laterz]

Longbeard sits in his storage room under Khaz'Verngaz. while eating a piece of dark wood he looks at his path.

"It isnt ready yet..."

Longbeard grabs his Axe which he named "Ironvein" and cuts through his own skin, causing blood to spill out.

"Argh... that should be enough..."

He lets the blood flow into a small glass bottle, until it almost flows over.

He wraps a small cloth around his still bleeding arm and sighs.

"last... part... i am getting sick of blood loss..."

Longbeard grabs his quill and dips it in his bottle of blood.

after a few minutes he is finished. Longbeard smiles knowing his work on teh Path is finished.

"well i gues i need to deliver this..."

Longbeard grabs Ironvein and his Path and walks to Kal'Anart.

After a day he arrives at Kal'Anart and he stabs the Path and The Contract on the door.

Longbeard smiles under his muddy blood filled beard and walks away, looking around for dwarves.

The Path:

The Grandaxe clan has a way to test their new family members it is called the Path of the Axe! This path shows what our new members are capable of.

First: teh Path of Creation.

in this path you mine and smith your new axe.

You may choose your own way of smithing and your own ores, but you need to do everything on your own.

Second: teh Path of Urir.

in this path you will kill someone/something [needs to be settled out]

You need to kill the person with yer axe and you need to gather a bucket of blood, this asks for a good kill otherwise you need to kill another person.

Third: teh Path of Sacrifice.

In this path you will sacrifice your blood, this is also called the "Contract"

Look at “The Contract.”

Fourth: teh Path of Urguan.

In this path you will pledge your life to the Nation, your king, your kin and clan. You will also hold your axe forever with you.

With this path settled you promise your life, so work hard.

When you loose your axe you will be banished from the clan.

When you destroy or sell the axe on purpose you will be killed bye the clan.

The Contract:

This ceremony is for every member.

you will slice your arm for enough blood and then you will write the Family contract with your blood.

Every Grandaxe member will write his name down on this contract.

The Contract is the clans way of a bloodline, but it means more to them. Family is family, but with the contract you give something up for your brotherhood. you give something up for a group of people who maybe arent even family. This contract shows all the members of the clan from the start of the clan. It is said that if you burn the contract the brotherhood is connected, but it is forbidden to burn or destroy the contract because of new members.

How the Contract goes.

The leader of the ceremony with stand in the middle of a cirkel, all the other members stand around him. The leader will grab his Axe and shout out: `this blood will represent our loyalty to our brothers and sisters. we will unite on paper with names written in blood. and we will stand proud together against every threat! FOR THE GRANDAXES!!!

then the leader slices through his own arm for blood.

the leader will use his finger to write his name and then he will give it to the rest of the clan.

at the end the contract will be kept hidden until a new member comes.

[] believe you mean weird with messed up? But yes it is. Well it is for the grandaxes and longbeard made it when he was depressed/crazy. He thinks realy serious about blood bonds :P

[Well.. while you where gone the Braveaxes and Blackaxes made a "pact" aka merged and became one clan. I'm hoping that most of the Grandaxes will become apart of the roleplaying environment of Kal'Anart when it is opened. Hopefully this Monday or Tuesday.]

[And Longbeard, can you change the trail names so it represents something else besides the dwarven gods that Tyrion made up. I'm trying to have the mountain dwarves be Paragon worshipers like Urguan or Urir. I'll talk with you over ts to get the finishing touches on this, but all in all, great work!]

His beard is cleaner then before, but his arms are wrapped in cloth and his face looks tired.

in the middle of the street he stops and he shouts...*

"I heared that our clan has a new member... Me friend Oghren is willing to change his name into Oghren Grandaxe! well i think that be a great idea and i would loike to have him to adopt him as my son. Oghren is a great Architect and Dwarf and it would be me Honor.

Come oghren and speak to me, DO YE WANT TO BE ME SON???????? "
