You're a bloody fool, you know that? You're in no possible way fit for the position of Duke of Norjun. After you agree to resign from the position after we peacefully approached you about your failure as a duke, you come back to Ursakar with the royal treasurer and order Duke Balian Guivret to step down or you'll remove his head. What kind of a duke speaks to his subjects like this? You claim that I am power hungry in Norjun... Lad, if I was power hungry, I wouldn't have moved to place Balian on the throne! You are a spoiled brat who doesn't even understand the laws of Oren. I've included a copy of the letter you decided to send Lady Helaine Guivret for peacefully requesting that you step down. Dispicable. You're a villain in its truest definition. Your loyal subjects ask you to give up the seat so that your beloved duchy can survive and you threaten to chop their heads!?

For those of you who can't read it:

Such a fool you've been. I should have you lose your younger and head for your traitorous actions. You have committed high treason, holding a liege against his will, planned usurpation, threatening a noble, insulting a noble, failure to notify of planned rebellion, and of course the fact that that you spit on your sacred oath. Aendur is dead. Ariana and Balian stripped of their titles, demoted to disgraced Baron and Baroness. Lucky to have escaped my fury in one piece. Baldur is marked to be hung and his crafty little tongue hung on my castle-to-be mantle. You, however, are being sparred only because of my generosity and your husband's complete subordination. In order to keep your pretty little head, I expect both a written apology and a verbal apology including you repenting your crimes against me. You must denounce your treasonous acts and pray to god that you receive his mercy beside mine. You will be made Baroness of Ursakar along side Balian. Be happy you are not sentenced to the gallows. Write back, and fast. You are not deserving of time to consider.

Baldur the Traitor,

Peacefully approached me? Ha. You trapped me in the Ursakar keep and demanded my immediate downfall and threatened me with your weapons. Ariana even spoke of your plan to murder me and there, if not for her interjection. Your going to wish you had. You and Countess Helaine sent a 'peaceful letter'? A peaceful letter does not threaten civil war. You were all marked for death due to your acts of treason, disrespect, and threats to nobility. Balian and Arian are being spared by my mercy. Helaine was meant to, but now she is supplying a fugitive and outlaw private information? To think I almost gave her her title and trust back. Aendur was hung for his disrespect of The Lord High Treasurer and conspiring with your crafty 'rebellion'.

You claim my subjects in question loyal? Are you serious on saying that? The entire Empire and many Noble Houses along with the people of Norjun are assisting in searching for you due to your treasonous actions. Not to mention, you never even LIVED in Seventis/Norjun. You simply walk in and begin brewing trouble. Those you brainwashed has denounced their traitorous acts and are re-earning their titles and my trust.

Now, I have more important things to do than write to outlaws. One of which is work with my architects on designing Grata. Farewell and know that your crimes, now recognized by central leadership due to my close friend the Lord High Treasurer, will not go without justice.

"Say what you wish of me. However, know that Helaine did not provide me the note. I 'borrowed' it from her desk when I had visited her not but a night ago. These Noble Houses you speak of would do well not to trust you. Your family's bloodline is riddled with treason and murder. Your father had Ursolon assassinated because he saw him as a threat! You ordered the death of Ulric in fear of his own uprising! I will not fall beneath a hired blade! You will pay for your actions!"

"So you have stolen private documentation from nobility? You are just making your execution worse and worse. A theif. ((VA for thievery?)) Now you stoop so low as to make false accusations against my bloodline and me? First off, you never lived here when Ursolon was even in command, and I assure you Renati was off buying supplies for his men at the time of his death. Also, I have confided in you before that Ulric never showed up for his job of Count. Therefore I appointed Balian Count instead. When you told me of Ulric's death, I even sent my dearest condolences.

If these lies are your motive for my downcasting, then truly you do not have the Duchy's best interests in mind. You are on a madman's quest for revenge on something never committed.

You are a traitor and criminal to the Empire. I shall allow no petty pest such as yourself taint His Imperial Majesty's Holy lands of Oren. Who said I would hire a blade to execute you for your crimes? I will do it myself.

P.S. Try to get your story straight next time. Are you doing this "for the Duchy" or for your own twisted, false revenge. Learn to have a polite conversation with your superior before you plot to murder and overthrow them.

*Aerios orders his scribes to make copies of the letters and post them throughout the Duchy, nailing them right next to the Wanted Posters for the Criminal Baldur.*
