Durability set to zero...? If you do that, doesn't that basically mean that once you hold it, it shatters in your hands?

It means that no items drop and that they get destroyed. But Vaq seems to have gotten his values wrong because 0 means that the items are undamaged in Notch language.

:D Maybez that is the point. Anyways, we need a rp reason for this damage on all items and I think it makes us too reliant on blacksmiths which may spark more players becoming blacksmiths.

I like it the way it is, honestly. Way I've always imagined it is that the monks want the lightest load and therefore leave all items behind. Then they stay at that point until returned for, or the get stolen/carried off by scavengers/washed away in rain if it takes too long.

I'm aware of the stupid Notch short values for surability, I just said 0 to make it easier to understand; I meant setting the durability to 1%.

I like it the way it is now. I live and work near a HEAVY mob spawning area. Literally dozens of mobs and I see people die all the time.

Whats interesting is that I completely forgot about the 30 min memory rule. I've probably had 20 or so people the last week coming right back (Im really close to the Temple) and demanding items back immediately.

However, my vote stands that you lose it all to keep the risk worthwhile.
