Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:I'm a sailor by trade and with the leisure time that job leaves me I enjoy playing RPGs and roleplaying. I also fill my time with playing guitar and creative writing.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:About 20-30 hours.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is, to me, slipping in the skin of a character to act out situations or stories. This can come in the form of video games, message board roleplaying, or live action roleplaying.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:I spent much of my high school time as a member of various Roleplaying forums.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: I would define Meta-gaming as using knowledge beyond what your character possesses within a contained roleplaying event.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is:Power emoting has always been to me a sort of "God-Mode". This includes taking control of someone else's character through actions or conversation.

What do you expect this server will be like?:A great chance to bring a much needed sense or roleplaying into my minecraft experience.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:Lattycraft, Age of Nobility, Roman Republic. All were lacking in either organization or effort put into roleplaying.

How did you hear about us?: After spending some time researching various minecraft servers yours stood out.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Diacu is a tall, slim male who is 97 years old. He is quiet, reserved and quick to anger. He tends to wear black, a bleak attempt at mourning for his once great family. His current outfit is a black tunic and pants, bearing the full moon symbol to represent his devotion to Markaur. He also wears a dark blue bandana to partially conceal his appearence, lest any of his family's enemies find him in Asulon. He also wears his bandana to prepare him for the trade he seeks in Asulon, sailing.

Diacu is the last scion of a once proud house. His father and uncles chose an unfamiliar position during a clan war some years ago and the family was never restored after that decision cost the family much of their wealth and many of their young heirs. Several centuries of declining status and poverty lead Diacu to seek his riches in Asulon. Diacu has sworn to restore his family's honour and, perhaps more importantly, fortune. He spent the last of his family's once great fortune securing passage to Asulon in an attempt to start anew.

What are your Character's ambitions?:Wealth beyond measure.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):Sword.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Diacu was trained in banking as his family made much of it's now squandered fortune banking for other prominent houses.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?Diacu strides up to the two warriors, gazing intently at their weapons and armor in an attempt to gauge the situation. "You'll be wanting my help with this halfling, by the looks of things," Diacu states confidently. By the shifting eyes of the warriors, he can tell they've reached the same conclusion. After a short discussion about shares of the ill-gotten coin, Diacu assists the two warriors in intimidating the halfling into giving up his coin without bloodshed.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "I'm wondering what sort of trade goods are in high demand right now, I'm hoping to find some work sailing and I'm planning on bringing some goods back with me," The trader smiles and says "Well, if you're interested in making some real coin, sugar is always worth plenty around here." Diacu nods slowly and passes the trader a coin. "Thanks for the tip, there'll be more of that as soon as I make port again,"

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Diacu quickly looks around for some sort of trap, having spent too much time in poverty to believe in this type of good fortune. As he loads his pack he hears slow footsteps entering the clearing near the hut. Outside, a bandit stands ready to strike with a staff. Diacu immediately spring into action first attacking the bandit viciously with the mostly useless golden sword. He strikes for the eyes, for no bandit can ply his trade blind. The bandit begins to focus only on protecting himself, giving Diacu the chance he needs. At the first oppurtunity, Diacu turns and runs, fleeing into the wilderness whence he came.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Pray, take pity on a poor traveler," Diacu begins. After getting some directions to the nearest town, Diacu shrewdly inquires into the situation at this camp. "You know, if you moved your camp closer to the main road you'd get better quality foot traffic than those of us lost and hungry,". The trading camp's unofficial leader invites Diacu to stay and begin working for the group as a book keeper and advisor, but Diacu's destiny is greater than any small trading camp can provide.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:Diacu immediately strikes for the bandit camp alone, in the dead of night. He seeks audience with the bandit leader. "The town guard have been forming a militia," he begins, "They could be here by morning." The bandit leader seems displeased but not surprised by this information. "Why would you bring us this information at your own risk?" he asks menacingly. "Because I know much better place for highwayman to operate, and would gladly take you there for a fee," Diacu says, smiling.

Anything else you would like to say?:I really hope I can become a part of this server. I explored it a good deal already and I am truly impressed.
