How much time could you be on the server weekly?:About 20-30 hours due to work.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: I know a lot about roleplaying because I used to co-own a HL2:DM RP server. Roleplaying is where one acts out the role of a character in dialect, gestures, and thinking.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:Again, I used to co-own a RP server which was hardcore RP, in fact.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is the act of using outside information that cannot be obtain by your player. For example, stats of another player, or using information that your in character player obtain and relay that information into an out of character chat.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is:Power-emoting is where one character has an advantage over another by using emotes that doesn't allow the other character have consent. For example saying "PlayerA stabbed PlayerB." A way to not power-emote is by saying "PlayerA tries to stab PlayerB." This will allow PlayerB to dodge or counterattack.

What do you expect this server will be like?:I expect this server to be like Lord of the Rings, hence the name. Also I believe it will have elements from rping games such as WoW and Guild Wars.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:I am a builder on The Great Big Infinite Dig server. I haven't exactly left that server, I am just trying to find a new experience.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):Ghun was born in the land of Loteric. Being the son of Madelyn and Leon Gottfried, Ghun was quite the charmer. In his early age he discover the true power of words by using persuasion. He studied the spoken language and was able to sweet talk any girl into his will. Ghun, at age 16, was able to finish school early due to his intellect. A psychologist recently reported that: "Ghun has the knowledge of high-wizard." At age 20, a freak accident happened. Ghun was experimenting with the power of redstone. He researched how that power could be use to create portals into different parts of the world. Being a sweet talker, Ghun asked his schoolmate, whom is the princess of Loteric to be his "test subject". She kindly accepted. On the fateful day, Princess Armalia stepped into the portal. The fuses on the gate started to mess up thus making Ghun pull Armalia out of the portal. As an end result, Armalia lost her vision. When her father, King Dedread caught word of the accident he banished Ghun from the land of Loteric.

It is now 8 years after the freak accident and Ghun has traveled all over the world to find a new homeland. While traveling he heard of the wonders of Asulon. Being a human man, he knew exactly where to head. The Holy Oren Empire will be the best site to rebuild his reputation. When he entered the town of Alras he met a female merchant. The merchant wrote in her diary his appearance...

Dear Diary,

Just met a handsome fellow today. He seemed quite starved though. I am glad I pointed him in the right direction to get food! This man was absolutely dashing. He wore a suit of green, that match his eyes! I never seen such green eyes in my life. He had a top hat on, and he wore some amazing shades. The tint of the shades were purple. That was cool! I can still remember his scent. It was some type of lavender. And his face! Oh my, smoother than an iron block! Can't wait to see him tonight. <3

What are your Character's ambitions?:His ambitions are simple. To lead many and to please few.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Ghun marches towards the two men. One looked like a giant compared to the other. He reaches up the taller one and taps his shoulder.

"Hey fellas."

The monstrous man turned slowly and glared Ghun in the eyes."What do ye want?"

"I had a question. Why are you trying to steal from him, eh? He is a halfling. A small one that. In other words he wouldn't carry much at all! SO Imma make it clear to ya. Leave him alone and carry with your business."

The scrawny fellow looked to his boss."Hey, Gilbert. I think we gots us a gusty boy 'ere."

"Yeah, too gutsy." The giant said. "We don't want to cause trouble, though. We are already in deep tides with the queen." The giant takes the scrawny one and they walk away.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?"Ah hello there mate. I was wondering if you had any information on where I can mine out some of this 'red dust', if you know what I mean?"

"Ooo, ye mean that supernatural dust. Yeh, I know a spot. Take a gander at this map. It will lead you in that direction! 40 minas, fella."

"Ah, okay old man." Ghun hands out 40 minas from his pack. "Also where is the soup kitchen. I am quite starved!"

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

"Look at this shiny equipment!" Ghun reaches into the chest and takes out the iron bars, leaving the golden sword behind. "I wouldn't want anyone to steal my family's sword."

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Ghun walks up to the guard standing about 6 feet high.

"Greetings and well met, friend. My name is Ghun. I am quite hungry. May I have directions to your inn?"

"Aye, sir. You look fairly bony. Take this path up that way. They will be more than willing to feed ya!"

Ghun rushes off to the inn.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

It is midnight. The sounds of a horn is heard. "Fellow countrymen. We are in need of help. There is a small band of bandits outside of our walls! They are stopping our wagons to enter the town. Rush to arms, every man!"

Ghun walks up to the leader. "Hey, sir. I would like to join you in this battle. I have a few techniques that will be proven quite useful."

"Aye, I like your bravery, man. Follow my lead!"

The town guard and Ghun head out on the trail to the north. A few feet from the town sits the bandit encampment. Ghun sneaks through the brushes with the guards. Looking at the sleeping bandits, the heroes jump into action. Each guard takes their sword and slice the necks of the bandits. Ghun, in the midst of things, enters the head bandits tent. There he sees a locked chest and the bandit leader in his cot. Ghun slithers over to the cot and slices the bandit's throat with Amoré. He snatches the keys to the chest and takes the loot.

Anything else you would like to say?:Having to rewrite this application was a little bit of a pain, but it allowed me to make it better. I hope you appreciate the application and allow me to participate in this awesome server!
