The Last Straw

A hooded figure looks around quickly and then starts reading the messages. He comes across this one and reads the last message and laughs to himself. He then sees a guard coming his way and runs off.

Elindor walks slowly up to the noticeboard. Seeing the High Princess he bows low, holding himself up with a golden walking stick. He briefly reads the rambunctious posts, then turns to Sythra sympathetically.

"I had no idea you were dealing with such whiney humans in Malinor. Perhaps if there lives contained some amount of turmoil they might actually be grateful. In some ways it is a pity that Iblees' shadow has not followed you here.

He sits down nearby to offer moral support.

*manages to stifle a slight giggle at Elindor's mention mention of 'whiney humans'. She keeps her composure but smiles a greeting to her friend.*

It is quite the situation at times. Though we have our share of small conflicts, the turmoil that plagues the nations of the mainlands has yet avoided the elven peninsula. And you are right that some tend to take our tranquility for granted. There is literally no peasantry or poverty in the Princedom and while that is good for the whole, it leads to unrest at times.

There are those that say the worst things about the Princedom, yet cannot seem to part with it for 'greener pastures'.

What happened to Darion, that is, if you are so peaceful, why do you need to remove a Prince? Killed too many foreigners and even more Mali?

He brushes his hand over the etched markings and the wood's surface is restored.
