Application for Lordship and protection for Snowy Fields, and revelation of a Lost temple of the Aenguls:

Zerragon and Tarannon, founders and rulers of Snowy Fields, would like to apply for Lordships and to become an official Oren town under the Kings jurisdiction and protection.

We have worked very hard to make it look as nice as possible, keeping a very strict rule on buildings and architecture. We wanted a cozy and trivial town with lots of personality, and I think we have managed it.

Travellers keep giving us nice compliments of the town, and we get alot of requests for people that want homes and to live there.

We also built defences solid enough to resist undead attacks, and we have good relations with guards from AlKhazar and other Oren cities than have visited our town.

Our own guard now consists of six people, which of course also will be under the King's command should he have need of assistance from Snowy Fields.

Beeing between Al'Khazar and Alstion, we have lots of travellers passing by every day.

We have cooperated with the King's Seneschal in getting the main road through our town on the way to Alstion, and we have a good tone and good cooperation between the two towns.

Snowy fields is built above a massive ancient Aengul temple that we have discovered, and have started digging out. When we are done, we will allow everyone to visit this magnificent wonder.

We will fresh it up, and may as well allow people to live there, as our forefathers and ascended did.

While uncovering this wonder of an ancient temple, we have both detected the spark within us, and upon closer examination and studying of ancient books we found, managed to trace our own bloodline to the noble lineage of the Ascended.

We feel obliged to work as hard as possible to make this wonder accessible to the world, as well as defend it at all cost, and we hope even the Wandering Wizard himself might take interest in it and extend his protection to us.

While digging we have discovered some fantastic lost tecnology which has allowed us to make an extremely effective farm system, as well as small teleportation devices which allow the user to be transferred both up and down in the world.

Also, we would like to study the use of minetracks a bit more, and hopefully in the future build an underground transportation system

for quicker access between AlKhazar and nearby towns.

Should the need arise, Snowy Fields and its farming mechanism can feed a vast amount of people over many weeks, should a siege

situation or something similar occure.

I hope His Higness approve of this, and if His Highness would like to visit us, and get a private tour of our town, we would be honored.

Your faithful subjects, and sworn defenders of the north, Zerragon Stormborn and Tarannon.

A little update after todays events.

We are building a mage house/guild to harness and study the vast amount of

information we locate in the Aengul temple.

Ogland (redbaron) will be our guildmaster, and he will speak to the real mage guild to get their official support.

Forgive me for intruding on your thread but as an Arch Mage of the Mage's guild I must inform you that guildmasters are chosen by the guild, not the other way around.

Regards,

Everard Hightower

Greetings Arch Mage Everard, sorry about the misunderstanding, hes not an official guildmaster representantive of the Mage's guild, he will just lead our local library/mage house that harnesses information we might find in the ancient temple. I was just phrasing myself poorly.

We hope though that the official Mage Guild might take interest in it when it is completed, and that they may recognize it as one of their guildhouses.

(( No, it has not, its a story we base our town on and we havent actually created (excavated) it yet.

We really hope it will beapproved, and that we are given a chance to build it, I can promise it will be grand and worthy, we are both adept builders having done major projects on other servers before LOTC. We will both travel to Haven and inspect the arcitectural style there to get inspiration. ))

I hope it will, this temple should empower their presence when fighting undeads in the north, as well as they can harness its power and possibly create means of magically travel to i. It would make it possible to actually react on undead attacks which happens rather fast once there are rumors there will be one.

Also, this location will be well protected within a well fortified town.

We now also built a moat to further strengthen the defences.

I am the Captain. My name is Tylos. I would just like to say that the moat has been finished for weeks(realtime: a couple days)and we haven't had any undead attacks in ages. I think we have fought them off...for now.
