Conquest:

Conquest is the act of military subjugation of an enemy by force of arms. In other words it is the de jure incorporation of some territory into another geo-political entity (either adjacent or non-contiguous). Usually, it is implied that the territory and population being annexed is the smaller, more peripheral, and weaker of the two merging entities, barring physical size.

As Rhazev steps through last of the branches he spots the recognisable arches of Meadows Creek. As he comes to a stand still beside the waterfall he takes a look around, pulls off his helm and takes a deep breath. To his left stands Galdor and Tibs, and to his right stands Tavros and Adorellan.

"This is the place then, Rhazev?" asks Galdor.

Rhazev turns to Galdor and nods.

"Aye. This will be our home soon enough."

Rhazev steps forward and the four men fall into a line behind him. Rhazev turns around to face them, his back to the town.

"We have been homeless for long, but we shall be no longer. Look before you Brothers, this is our home. To the untrained eye it may look small, but do not let yourself be deceived-" he points to a wall at the far end of the ruin "-behind that wall there lies something more. Almost half of this ruin has been covered. Denizens of Asulon have been blocked of these ruins, but they shall be no longer. We shall rid the land of the ones who have tainted it and make it our home! We will give this place life once more! We have offered the leader of this village a peaceful solution, and we have been ignored! This will not stand! Rid the land of those who taint it! We are Legion, and we are free!

Rhazev leads the men away with a grin on his face, knowing the day of reckoning for this town was coming.

I do not consent to this. I would like to mention this entire group tried to conquest/Pillage without a war-claim. And DID Pillage me without one. Besides this, you have horrible RP reasoning. That land is horrible, the stone is rotted. The crops freeze. There is an un-deniably massive amount of undead [skeleton's-Zombie] Population enough to kill many people, besides. The reason you stated OOC. You wanted a base. This is honestly greedy. Simmaler to what happened to Ever. You are giving short, and invalid war-claim reason's.

I like to point out those that stole had VA's for stealing and I also remember saying. "Hand over the land, peacefully or face harsh means [warclaim]." I also do not like the language you distributed among the guild.

We know you have more chests around. We wanted to make sure you weren't hiding anything of high treason to Oren so we made you break the chests and I killed you to make sure. I advise this war-claim to be withheld until an admin may deal with the supposedly broken rules here.

You also say you don't know why Tavari would have a base on rotten stone and stagnant water, but why would you try to claim one like that as well?

Anyhow, I don't think this should be passed until the rule-breaking incident has been investigated in complete detail. So please allow an admin to check out both sides of the story before accepting this war-claim.

The previous RP that you mentioned was voided, but as you continue to bring it up I shall delve into the matter. We joined House Fireeyes in order to scout it out/take it in the long run. What actually transpired in the RP was a, I suppose, peaceful takeover. Cailean asked you to give the land to us, or we would come back with more men, similar to what I did with Meadows Creek long ago. It was not my fault that Cailean rushed this part (at least I, personally, felt this was rushed). You gave him the land then proceeded to barrage him with insults in /tells. Anyway, lets move on to the current subject:

Your first point contradicts you living there. Why would you base a village upon rotten stone? That honestly seems like you're making things up to keep this place in your possession. If this is true, the stone can be replaced.

Your second point, and your fourth point don't really matter. We aren't farmers, we're warriors. We fight, not farm.

Your third point again seems like another attempt to keep it in your possession. Why would you base a village where there is undrinkable water?

As for it being similar to Ever's tower, I have to disagree. The tower was untouched by anyone for a long, long time. If I was war claiming the ruin with no village in I could understand an uproar, but the ruin has already been messed with. You've already blocked part of the ruin off.

Greedy? I don't see how. We're war claiming a small village so that it can hopefully serve as our base if we win. You already have a tower, and you have the Aegis ships and another keep on the way. We are a group with no place to stay, and this place serves our group perfectly. It is not far from the temple, and not far from Levanthus. It has the Nawari trading camp nearby which is good for trading. As I said earlier, if you wish to discuss this properly then add me on Skype, I don't want this argument cluttering up the thread.

The Nawari camp is home to a lot of people. This is home to very, very few. This is also out of the way, whereas the Nawari camp has a path going through it. We also don't want to live in tents. If the water is rotten from neglect then your village should be doing something to get the water back to normal. Yet another reason why we would want to settle there. We want to keep it at it's highest possible standard and also use it as a base.

The behavior we showed? We weren't the ones spamming OOC in RP and calling us all dicks through PM's. If you wish to continue this i'll happily strike report the offensive language we all had. You said the behaviour was not VA material, well I would like to counter with the fact we couldn't RP because of your harassing tells. You were really set on using OOC status to riddle yourself out of an RP situation. We represented our VA's properly, by being greedy bandits. As for the ET material, I already explained we were waiting to RP you were waiting to find an OOC excuse.
