Hey #LOTC,

Have a nice little mini-patch for ya’ll today. Here’s what’s up:

• Your respawn point used to be based on one check; your race. Now your respawn point will be based on your race AND allegiance (town you’re part of). So if you’re part of the town ABC, and they have an official spawn point set by a GM, when you die you’ll spawn at that point instead of the cloud temple.
• [NEW] Added /tsetbio – Sets description of your town to be viewed by others with /tinfo.
• [NEW] Added /taddbio – Adds on to the description of your town; similar to /setbio and /addbio.
• [NEW] Added GM command, /tsetspawn; allows towns to have town-specific spawn points for all citizens of the town.
• [FIX] Chickens now drop raw chicken 75% of the time, versus 25%.
• [FIX] Incorrect total member value given on /tinfo.

Also, Vaq, are you aware of Normandor's tendency to cause ridiculous lag? I've been to normandor and experienced FPS drops and it came to the point where the client crashes at times I've also found that several players are having this problem.

Normandor lag may be from the exposed void beneath it - I can suit up and go fix the mess. It was created during the building of the map and the creator of the island had some.. interesting methods :P

...would having a spawn point near a town be a little nuisance to say; raiders, pillagers, war-mongerers and door to door salespeople given that having whomever was slain popping right back into existence without a qualified necromancer present would be rather unseemly?

Spawn-delays would do the trick, though who wants to sit in a waiting room reading old celebrity articles in the afterlife? Suppose during wars a quick change back to the Sanctuary suffices. For the long-eared islanders it would be possible to gander over for a bit of vengeance. Keep the F2's primed to make sure nobody is being cheeky with the 30 minute rule?

Ol' noggin' seems to be failing as well, was there a minimum limit to determine how many active users a village / town / city etc. required before needing to trade-up or down?

Multiple chars were not very favored anyways as it could lead to meta or maybe power-gaming; I could guess that the answer to the rule against multiple characters would be pretty harsh, though that is just me.
