Austin 697 Share Posted July 23, 2012 I KINDLY REQUEST ONLY ORCS AWNSER THE POLL IF YOU AREN'T AN ORC AND AWNSER THE POLL I WILL BE ANGERED DEEPLY. So as most of you know, the jabbernak is our single fast travel to the War Uzg, however RP wise you cannot take it unless you are an orc, I made a modreq to see if I could get a region around it where only people on the region list could walk onto the region, Roze the one who completed my Modreq said that people would complain so that idea was terminated, however he suggested we move the Jabbernak to an area right by where it previously was and have a wooden cage built around it, with a locked door with a password that only certain orcs know [or /cprivate and we just add people as we go] But I wanted too see what the other orcs thought about this idea of moving our jabbernak over a few blocks, this is to prevent random humans riding the jabbernak. Other options are making a carriage like thing on the back of our current Jabbernak and have an NPC to drive the jabbernak.
Hiebe 2493 Share Posted July 23, 2012 You cant dish out forum warnings cause people vote in your poll. Just ignore the votes. On topic Well thats all good and all but what bout your allies who wish to trade or visit your god forsaken capital? (i kid) If this happens im going to make holes only big enough for dwarves :P
Kickstarted and Running 965 Share Posted July 23, 2012 What about Oggluk? He is a tribal but he is accepted as an Orc Shamman. Same with Seventh. Are we considered Orcs?
Austin 697 Author Share Posted July 23, 2012 Yes but we want to look at the statistics of the votes, wouldn't it be trolling if someone voted on a poll that has nothing to do with them? This is meant for orcs only! What about Oggluk? He is a tribal but he is accepted as an Orc Shamman. Same with Seventh. Are we considered Orcs? yes of course. Honorary orcs are still orcs. loopmoploop 5 Share Posted July 23, 2012 I agree that we don't need humans breaking the rp by using the jabbernack, but I'm very sure that someone will eventually be left off the list and then it'll start a whole "thing" plus making some problems for those giving perms. Kickstarted and Running 965 Share Posted July 23, 2012 Shaman Oggluk thinks you need to move the damn thing so Dwarves stop camping them. Sorry what happened to you potato
DrakeHaze 20 Share Posted July 23, 2012 I highly suggest a movement of the jabbernack. I saw a human just jump onto it without even reading the signs. I would think they're new but this still is breaking RP.
bungo 3965 Share Posted July 23, 2012 ... Let people use the damn giant lizard already. We're paying 200K so that the Capital is Re-built and so that we get much more RP. Let people come to the city and simply state that the Jabbernack will not eat them. It's quite simple. Let people into the city if you want RP and stop being Isolationists.

I would have posted this, but yea, keep a public jabbernak. We can RPly tame it to not eat humans and elves after we finished the build, and for now just go on an honor system. Plus look at public fast travels versus private. Arethor vs ArmaLuna :P
DrakeHaze. 2524 Share Posted July 23, 2012 ...I think the point of the Jabbernack was to make sure that only orcs could use it. This adds RP and gives more protection from invaders. Simply giving humans and other races the ability to ride the jabbernak would most likely lead to conflict. Not to mention that some human might think it was cool if he had a jabbernak so he'd go get one himself from "Somewhere" and then use it as transport. I am a human but I do not want to see other races riding the jabbernak, it was a good idea to have it and people are just mad that they never thought of it first :3

Blawharag 277 Share Posted July 24, 2012 I don't think the War-Uzg only rule should be discontinued within Strigzgoi limits. Outside of that, I am ok with others using the jabbernack to get to outside Strigzgoi so long as it is RP'd that they walked (which means no taking it during a skirmish). Friendly Guy 223 Share Posted July 24, 2012 During a war im fairly certain we would call all jabbernacks back to base to ride into battle or just store them/ I also say they can not ride it, the point of them was so we could have fast travel as normal orcs can not RPly ride Horses and i abstain from rideing them as i would crush them :P
