I am a bored kid in high school looking for some fun role playing. I enjoy theater, writing, and video games.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I would be on mostly during the weekends. If I am ever on during the weekdays, it'll only be for a couple hours at most.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying means taking the role of someone you are not, and playing out events in his/her fashion.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have roleplayed online at deviantART. I have also roleplayed for other Minecraft servers such as Aurora.

Meta gaming is when a person takes OOC information and brings it into RP, giving their character an unfair advantage.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect this server to be full of awesome roleplaying, epic events, and just a lot of fun in general.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have played on numerous roleplay servers, such as Aurora. I left them all because they lacked either players, guidance, or a good community.

How did you hear about us?:

I had heard of this server sometime around last year. My previous attempts to join it had failed, so I moved on to other roleplay servers. I have returned to this server because it seems to be the best in Minecraft roleplaying.

I know I have made applications in the past for Aegis, but I'm pretty sure those applications have been deleted. I also wouldn't know where to find them at this point.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

History: Luxif was born as an only child in the small town of Strom. Strom was located in The Wilds, and miles away from a city. The Nemos' ran a small bookstore in Strom, and made a decent living. Naturally, Luxif grew up loving books. He especially grew to enjoy history. Tales of world-changing battles, inspiring heroes, and mysterious species captivated a young Luxif. He read all of the history books in Strom, and constantly searched for more. Unfortunately, life was not that simple for Luxif. While the Nemos' could afford enough food to survive, if they wanted to eat to a full stomach they had to retrieve it themselves. This led to nearly daily hunting expeditions, which led to Luxif being quite capable with a bow. But for the most part, Luxif's life was calm and peaceful in Strom. At the age of 16, however, Luxif had the urge to adventure and see the world. It is a common occurrence in young boys to gain the need to explore at that age. His parents, however, immediately rejected the idea. Instead, they promised Luxif that they would let him go at the age of 19, and only if he found an admirable goal to accomplish. With this in mind, Luxif immediately began to seek out worthy ambitions. When his 19th birthday finally arrived, Luxif announced his life goal: to become one of the most famous recorders of important historical events in Asulon. His parents, both having much respect for history, accepted this as an honorable ambition, and let him go. What he didn't mention to his parents was that he planned to also participate in these events as well. Luxif now travels the land, looking for interesting events to participate in and record.

Appearance: Luxif was born with red hair, the only special feature he inherited from the Nemo lineage. He has fair skin and light blue eyes, possibly meaning that a little Elven blood is mixed in the Nemo family. Luxif is of average height and average attractiveness. He looks his age, and gives off an ambitious vibe. His normal attire would include a wool, white t-shirt under a black, leather jacket. His bottom half is covered by brown, leather pants, a black leather belt with a silver buckle, and black shoes.

Personality: Luxif constantly seeks adventures to experience, so he can write about it later. This leads him to be a very outgoing person, and often the one to speak first. He is also very friendly, but makes few true friends. To his true friends he is very loyal, siding with them unless all evidence finds them wrong. Luxif is also a very curious person; sometimes too curious. He tends to stick his nose where it doesn't belong, sometimes leading to trouble. He will go to any lengths to experience a new adventure, as long as they don't require the slaying of innocent people or the betrayal of his comrades.

What are your Character's ambitions?:

As mentioned earlier, Luxif wants to be known as one of the top recorders of important historical events in Asulon.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

Luxif favors a pen to write with.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Luxif is very skilled in writing. He arranges words together to create a wonderful reading experience.

Luxif speaks with in an interesting manner. He often says addresses people with a title like "sir", "lad", or "mate".

Open-Response-Questions

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Luxif stops, and quietly pulls out his bow. He fires a warning shot at the feet of one of the attackers.

"I say lads! Leave the poor halfling chap alone or else!"

The warriors, not complete idiots, realize that they can't reach Luxif in time before he shoots them. They silently walk away from the halfling, seething with anger. After they disappear Luxif shouts, "Oy, lad! Come over here!".

When the halfling arrives where Luxif is, he immediately starts thanking him.

"Don't thank me yet, lad. Follow me!"

Luxif leads the halfling in the opposite way of the direction the warriors went. After about half a mile, Luxif stops.

"This is far enough to be safe, I suppose. We'll part ways here, mate."

"Thank you, kind sir! I won't forget this!"

With that, the halfling and Luxif part ways.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

"'allo mate! Good to meet someone who speaks like myself. You have any books for sale?"

"Why of course I do young lad! They're right over there." The vendor points at some books in the corner of his stall.

"Thank you, good sir." while observing the books, Luxif notices an old book that contains history of a battle that took place in Aegis, the old land. He hasn't read much on the old land, so he immediately begins to bargain for the book.

"I say sir, how much for that old book?" The book was originally worth only 20 Minas. However, the vendor noticed Luxif's slight moment of excitement from discovering the book, so decides to increase the price.

"Well chap, I have priced that particular book at 500 Minas."

"500 Minas for that old book?!"

"It's a rare book lad, one of the few that contains information on the old world." Luxif pauses to ponder his options. After a couple of minutes he suggests,

"How about I get you the equivalent in meat?" Luckily for Luxif, a vendor of a small shop doesn't always get to eat meat.

"I accept that deal. I'll have this lovely book on hold for you. I expect the pork of 20 pigs by the end of the week, lad."

"And I, sir, shall do just that." Immediately after the deal is struck, Luxif goes out and hunts. It takes him almost three whole days of constant hunting, only resting to eat, relieve himself, or take naps. He returns with the desired meat and in return acquires the book.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Luxif immediately pulls out his bow and scans the area, expecting an ambush. After observing for a couple of minutes and seeing no sign of danger, he carefully steps toward the hut. He decides to shoot an arrow at the chest, trying to bait possible attackers. It works, and Luxif hears a slight gasp. Luxif slowly begins to back away from the hut, and when no one comes out, simply proceeds to keep walking towards the next town.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Luxif cursed his luck. He had accidently dropped his bow and map into a river, and the current had quickly taken both items away. He now trudged through the wilderness, lost and hungry. After miles of aimless wandering, Luxif spots a camp. With his remaining strength, he quickly heads towards the camp. When he arrives and they greet him, he replies,

"'allo chaps, am I sure as hell jolly to see you folks! I say, do you have any spare grub for an unfortunate, famished fellow?"

"We have some left overs," says a person, "here ya go." Luxif voraciously devours the food. Afterwards he says,

"Mind if I stick with you chaps for a bit? Hand me a bow and I can hunt." The members of the camp observe him for a bit, and decide that Luxif is a trustworthy person. They lend him a bow, and Luxif does his share of work for the camp. He stays with them until they arrive at a town, and from there Luxif travels on his own once more.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Upon hearing the news, Luxif jumps at a chance for a new experience.

"I volunteer myself, sir! I'm quite handy with a bow if I do say so myself." The Chief Guard inspects him for a bit and before approving.

"You have my thanks, stranger." Luxif can only nod in acknowledgement. He is instead too excited with the though of an adventure and writing about it later.
