Coming across the notice-board whilst walking along a routine path in the city, it was not long before Dio had happened across Lady Telrunya. An object lay clenched in his hand, a chain dangling out in the open. A quick exchange of the ritualistic greeting gestures.

"A single personal request I have for you, although firstly I wish to ask another on behalf of the city. If you accept the role I would have you assist in reforging the armaments currently in storage", which upon finishing saw a large skeleton key placed in Ardene's hands.

"When convenient, the creation of a golden staff would be most appreciable. Your effort will be compensated."

With that he made to turn away, seeming content without receiving answer.

An envelope sealed with silvery wax is left by the smithy, the impression of a letter D upon it. Breaking it would reveal a paper letter, detailing a large order of golden and silver jewellery; necklaces, bracelets, rings, brooches, pins and more with each one embedded with a certain kind of jewel in every hue perceivable.

Each among the below listed requests are to be completed at the earliest opportunity. The following take precedence over the others:

  • Amethyst pendant coupled with a silver chain. The links are to be forged widely and wave engravings etched to mirror each side.
  • Golden ring that is embedded with a square-cut ruby. Outward lines surrounding a circle as engraving.
  • Polished shard of a lapis lazuli stone attached to threaded plates of silver, each marked with a repeating pattern of skyward and flat lines.
  • Braid cord with tear-drop crafted from brown diamond. Golden clasp, modest fall; no further than 40mm.
  • Silver diadem with a marquise cut amber stone, rising over the forehead in a smooth arch.
  • Cuff-links of steel, gilded. Depicting the image of a sword with a ruby set in the pommel.
  • Two emerald rings, oval cut. One silver and etched with intertwining, flowing lines as of tree roots. Another with a circle encased by a thin oval.
  • Brooch of gold, studded with amber, arranged in the form of a balancing scale.

Ardene looks down on the blisters on her hands as she finishes Dio's request. She stops to think for a minute about what it could be before shaking her head and muttering to herself. "Perhaps the maheral just has a taste in fine jewelery." Whatever the case, Ardene liked working with metals. It was an art of it's own and an art that she was bloody great at. It kept her mind off things going around in her life. [iblees knows there's a lot.]

As she trots up onto the top of the college she smiles and looks down at her work. They were made well. She spent quite a while slaving over them and finding the perfect gems. She needed to head to Kal'Anart to get those gems cut with surgical precision. Nevertheless, they were done. It was her best work. She peeks through the window of Dio's house and sees that he's not there. Slowly she opens the door and strides inside putting a case on Dio's table. She unfolds a piece of paper from her pocket and lays it softly on the table. "It is done."

Seth, walks by and leaves a note on bone white paper with gold coloured ink at the edge, it reads.

"I Seth Calith would like two throwing daggers crafted with a good balance, no gem stones on the dagger, just the master craftsmanship of metal and of course the dagger hilt. -Seth Calith."

Wiping the sweat off her brow as removes her gloves she glares at the two throwing knifes inspecting them thoroughly. "The reforge is done..." she mutters to herself a bit tiredly as she places the two knives into a case. The steel and the gold was beautiful even without the ornate gems. She had already taken her turn at throwing them. They were balanced perfectly. Ardene runs her finger along the sharp edge of the blade and winces. "It cuts at touch." she says gleefully.

Skipping over to Seth's tower in a usually joyful mood she places the case in front of Seth's doorstep with a sheet of paper written in bold letters indicating that she's dead serious.

"Polish once a day. Bring every elven week for reforges. The knives can take a fair bit of damage however that doesn't mean you can be a brute with them. Treat them like a pair of deadly razor sharp children or the next place you'll find them will be up your rear end."

Drecar reads all the notes carefully. He then writes his own note.

I have very much so enjoyed the iron armor you gave me. I was wondering if you could make me a few things.

-Very strong gauntlets.

-Very strong chest plate.

-Very strong leg plates.

-Very strong boots.

-Quite a few buckets.

I need the armor and gauntlets for hunting. I've been attacked by far too many hostilities and caused way too many close calls via insufficient armor. Also when people enter the city and no guards are about, I will be able to take matters within my own hands.

The buckets are for the innkeeper. I am willing to pay as much as needed.

-Drecar Razier.

Ionia writes down a message on a fresh looking piece of parchement and attaches it bellow the original and the ones bellow it.

I would like to have some shears made, 5 should suffice, I also have some I would like repaired. A time can be arranged to have those ones repaired.

Also if you are at all skilled in glass blowing, I would like some glass vials made, about 24.

The shears are needed for picking herbs, as I have recently found a facination with alchemy. The vials are for storing and mixing them.

Sincerely.

Ionia Sullas.

Calanon spots the note as he's strolling through the streets, and pauses for a moment. He jots down his own note, and places the gold and blue trimmed parchment next to it.

"I would extremely appreciate it if you could forge a simple sword. It doesn't have to have any special designs, but having an iron blade and a sapphire might bring the whole weapon together. Many times I find myself without something to defend myself, so such a sword would be very helpful. I'm also willing to pay for whatever materials you do not have on you." -Calanon

Scratching his chin and looking to the sky, Lucion approches Ardene and pulls out a small list.

"Lets see...

I need a new set of lightweight armour for emergency purposes, an iron chestplate with iron boots, to keep those horrid little vermin from biting my toes..."

He taps his chin in further consideration.

"...some chainmail greaves for fluid movement... and a new iron sword... a relatively thin blade for faster strikes..."

Lucion shakes his head for a moment, trying to coax out a memory. Suddenly, he clicks his fingers in realisation.

"Oh yes! And a 26-meter iron pole. I'm sure you can work out the details with Ms Yuln. Karin'ayla."

He swiftly turns and walks on his way.
