The Spire Project,

It is true that it has not been accepted. However, the lore was not accepted; the RP still stands. We have been leading up to the project since March and I will continue through with it. I still have the full option to RP them as large failures but as it stands, Mirtok believes they will work and we will build them. I gave up the prospect of having a country with people and culture in hopes that the sacrifice would balance out with the odd nature of the Spire lore, I was wrong. However, in RP the Spire project and all byproducts from it are very important to the Order and the Oren Empire as it was Godfrey who commissioned a super weapon to be built in RP. I do have something worth protecting.

Some of you have nailed it, I build eye candy. My eye candy is both nice to look at and effective in battle. We have one of the spires built already and I felt it necessary to build a forward operating base nearby for ease of use when working on the spires. This translates into less time for me to travel in MC mechanics and more centralized project progression RP wise. I had the plans in the works for a fort to be build in the south, it is my least defensible region and houses some of my most important work. Thus, I had a small camp built; the small camp has turned into the beginnings of a fort and the fort has prompted the need for walls. The walls, fort, and even the camp are still in progress; we have a lot on our plate being under staffed and over worked in OOC. I am working two jobs, school and now am off to the military so I cannot put in as much time is needed to finish something when someone shows up unannounced like Hiebe did.

Which brings me to another thing, there is Cloud down there. Wolfedge is a region directly connected to the Cloud producing regions. It is a low laying plain, the largest plain in our country. It is a perfect receptacle for the Cloud. I only have the damage variables turned off as I build because in RP we have our suits on anyway. Even with our suits the building is limited and we much gauge our time. I like to use the time I am at school or work to RP that my suits are being stored and allowed to let the Cloud leech from their plates.

I don't like to take chances like that, leaving a whole area open. I have plan B's for almost everything and when I can I have plan C's. I never put much effort into the southern border of mine until the Spires were made. Every time I closed of Hanseti I had us focus on the north borders or out on patrol. In the last event that I pulled us away, I changed that focus towards the south- the date of that being August 13th- thus the presence in the South being upped.

Hope that clears some things up, I am open to all questions if you have them.

EDIT: I think I forgot to mention, I had it written since day one of the Spire project on possible ways to have the Cloud removed. Either I or others could go about shutting it off if they figure out how. If anyone has the urge to, contact me and we can work it all out. I will most likely do it some time in the future, it has been long over due on my project schedule.

Couldnt there just be a large wind storm? Up to 100 MPH in speed to just blow away the pink fog for a set time? Like say. . . 1 IRL week? Then the wind dies down, pink cloud re-appears? Then someone could later find out how it works? That would make for a better event style RP for an entire server to get a shot at learning how to remove the pink fog.

Like I said, if someone wants to give it a go I have already set ways to do it or they can pursue their own method. Just talk to me privately and it can be arranged.

[[interesting, but this spire thing raises a question. If the Dwarves are going to take over this happens to have spires on it, what will happen to them? They are supposedly weapons of mass destruction, and as you said because the lore isn't approved as of yet, they could undergo a mass failure. Would that result in a lesser form of mass destruction, as in destroying that whole region? Or would it just go kaput and a little smoke fire starts? Well, we're gonna find out IC anyways, just wondering if this whole conquesting region thing is pointless or not. Oh well, we'll see.]]

I personally, Dislike the idea of destroying an amazing looking city. It will end up being a RIVEN all over again. If it could, just have the tower explode at the most. Ide rather not see an amazing built city of LotC get destroyed. . . . AGAIN.
