*After speaking with Rasun about the dire circumstances of the Plague, Gulroid emerges from the Goldhand hold with armful of posters. He, in what seems like tradition now, begins pinning them up around the city. The posters read:*

Citizens of Kal'Alras,

You are probably aware now of the grave news that has been circulating in our great city. There has indeed been a victim of the plague in our midst. Our beloved Caseus was found in his home, having contracted the plague and succumbed to it. It is unclear as to how long his body was able to fight off the plague, or exactly what his symptoms were. I have been assured by medics that he died in his sleep and with no pain.

You will have of course noted that there are some added militia forces around. As of this moment parts of the city will be in quarantine. There are guards outside outside the entrance to the Goldhand Hold. These guards are instructed to keep anyone suspected of harboring the plague out of the Hold itself. They will inspect each and every person who wishes to enter the hold.

You will also notice guards at the front gate. These men will stop those who are suspected of having the plague from leaving the city. We do not want this spreading throughout Asulon. It is suspected that those persons working at the farms are more likely to be in contact and have contracted the plague. All farmers are to report to medics and herbalists to be treated. These people will also be under close observation.

Citizens I urge you not to panic in these times. We have the city under control. We will squash this plague. Our best medics and brightest minds are working on studying the illness, treating it, and developing a cure. I ask that you citizens do your part to help us. Please report anyone you suspect of having the plague to the guards. Those persons who are deemed to have it will be quarantined to their houses and will have food delivered to them. Those of you who may have the illness, we have not forgotten you. You do your part to not spread the disease, and we will supply you with food and any medicine you require.

((Just to point out the above poster all IC information not all of it may be factual. Be aware that Gulroid may be with holding certain details to avoid wide spread panic. I have heard OOC that there is no cure for the plague yet, only medicine to slow it down. By all means feel free to RP that you have a ‘false’ cure or sell trinkets that are supposed to ward of plague. That usually makes for excellent and exciting RP. Just make sure that no VA is required for whatever you plan to do. Be aware that if you contract the plague the guards and leaders of Kal’Alras will treat you with forcefulness in a effort to protect others. You will be confined your house or moved to a confined area. Please use this as a time to practice your excellent RP and not powergame your way around the city trying to infect everyone. ((The 2 Minutes is a exaggeration on my part, It was not two minutes after your death. It was about the next morning after you died that night. I also know this is a RP Topic I just wanted to say that it is a exaggeration.))

((The last Alras plague started with the farms also, but no-one really did anything about it.....(when Alras was still a nation). This sounds like it will be a LOT better for rp))
