In-Character Details

Character Name: Numerius Vibius

Character Race: Human

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Numerius is a middle-aged male, around 40 years of age. He stand at 5ft and 10 inches, has dark brown hair, a muscular body, and comes from Northerner descent.He was born in the urban setting of Arethor as a peasant, and he formerly served in Oren’s military, until being severely injured while on patrol, and came across a group of bandits in the wilderness. Following the encounter, he became addicted to herbs/medicines used to dull the pain, blowing all his money, and neglecting his duties as a soldier, so he was let go.

As the severity of his addiction escalated, he eventually became broke financially, and had to sell all of his property and possessions to fund the addiction. As he hit rock bottom, realty set in. He had lost everything and everyone, and at that moment, vowed to never to purchase any of the foul substances again, and set off to rebuild is destroyed life.

Numerius is an honest and intelligent individual, but has a severe temper, and during his time in service, he had gone through the ranks fairly quickly. He is a devout believer in Illuminus Obscura, and is eager to resume life after overcoming his addiction.

What are your characters ambitions?: Now looking for an honest way to make a living, Numerius would like to live a quiet of perhaps an inn keeper, or some sort of traveling merchant.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: He has a liking for all races that inhabit Asulon, and despises bigots that discriminate against anyone due to their race.

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? As I’m familiar with hardship, due to my financial issues ensued by my addictions, I would greet poor dwarf in a friendly manner. I would then, proceed to browse his wares and perhaps purchase some of them, to help make his experience more less miserable than it already has been. I would then, ask him if later on, I could treat him to a drink at a local tavern, and purchase a room for him at a near by inn.

You’re in the Cloud Sanctuary late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. The only present monk is fast asleep, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I would intervene, and ask then ask the dwarf if he had been hurt, and what was happening. Then I would ask the orc to please stop harassing the poor dwarf, and hand him a pouch full of Minas, then be on my way. I would try to prevent any violent actions at all.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: I would help the man collect the Minas on the ground, and help him up. I would then, ask him where he was going, and accompany him to wherever that location is, and perhaps along the way, find him a new walking stick to replace the broken one. Like they say, treat other as you would like to be treated.
