The Miners

Mining is a daily activity for dwarves. It's a part of our culture and is a way of life. Our mining techniques is beyond any race and our organization skills is perfection. We mine to gather as much ores as we can but at the same time we mine to create masterpieces of endless halls and runes. We do this for Yemekarr the god of Creation and Smithing, Yemekarr loves all crafted items and works of art. He blesses us with life for us to continue working and crafting constantly.

Mining RPly

Mining Rply doesn't mean we have to do an emote for every stone we break. It simply means we have to mine according to real life physics. For example you mine normally in minecraft, and you dug out a huge hole clean. What do you think seems odd about it? You see that your in a hole where massive tons of stone are above you and it obviously is supposed to collapse on you. Unfortunately minecraft physics isn't like this. So here's what you have to do is basically place supports within the mines in order to do what's right. Another thing you must know is you must mine according to whatever rules are placed by the Owner of the mine. By understanding that supports and organized mining keeps a Mining shaft or Mining Hall intact you are now understanding how to mine in RP.

Mining RPly(OOC Rules:)

1) NEVER X-RAY. You will be banned

2) 1x1 shafts is unacceptable. <--- You will be banned.

3) Mining in random haphazardly patterns is suspicion of X-RAY and you will be banned.

4) Using any mods or hacks to have an advantage on others. <--- You will be banned.

5) Going against Mining Rply you will be banned for it.

6) Not reading the rules. <-- Removal from Mining Area.

Mining Rules (RP Rules:) For Karik Mines (Following a Tier system Mineshaft.) (Under Construction.)

1) You mine in a one by one shaft you will be killed from collapse of the shaft.

2) You mine on a level below the level that is needed to be mined. You will die from collapse of mine shaft. (Ex: Start from top level and FINISH than go down to the lower levels.)

3) Once you start a mineshaft you finish working the required distance. (Ex: Metres as in block distance is used for measurement.)

4) Mine according to the plan, not following it is a shaving of the beard and jail. You will be punished.

5) If you see a ravine STOP and tell a foremen. After that you can mine along the WALLS OF THE RAVINE.

6) If you spot an abandoned mine shaft STOP tell a foremen. After that you can mine along the WALLS OF THE ABANDONED MINESHAFT.

7) Don't go beyond the distance of the plan, you will get lost especially if your in a ravine or abandoned mineshaft. Not following this is a suspension from mining and possible jail time.

8) If a miner has more experience( higher skill level.) Ask them to mine the ore for you. If the person mined the ore for you and didn't give it to you call for a foremen.

9) Corruption will be a shaving of the beard and severe punishment.

10) You steal you will be sent to jail, and receive punishment.

11) You caused a collapse and you weren't careful, and survived. Your beard will be shaven and you will be removed from the Mines permanently.

12) Causing a collapse and endangering your fellow miners, or causing the collapse to kill them if you weren't careful. Your beard will be shaven and you will be removed from the Mining Hall.

13) Murdering a fellow miner is not only a shaving of the beard but also you will be hated amongst your entire race.

14) Stealing a rank higher than a Veteran miner, will be a shaving of the beard.

15) Mine according to how the plan goes.

16) You see a ravine STOP and tell your Foremen about it. Once you do you can mine the surface of it.

[You can break the rules of an Owner by stealing or going somewhere where your not supposed to go. You can also murder someone for their ores. BUT YOU MUST FOLLOW MINING RP RULES.] <----(must have a villain app.)

The Lumbers

Usually consisting of dwarves, lumbers are an important part of the workforce. Though many would think why would dwarves have any use for wood, but we do. Tools, supports, furniture and sometimes building. Wood is an important resource and we need it. The lumbers are a necessity to the nation and it's an important job.

The Grand Harvest

Unlike mining, lumber isn't a resource we need constantly. When the kingdom is running out of lumber, all lumberjacks go out and cut the trees throughout the kingdom, and return all the lumber to the kingdom. We do this process when we reach low on lumber supply.

The Farmers

A practice most dwarves often are ridiculed of. Farming is a skill most dwarves won't bother with. Crafting goods, weaponry, and working with stone is what dwarves love. Usually dwarves would hire other races to do their farming. Although many dwarves who find this practice useless, It is a valuable trade for those who can past its reputation. Those who work as farmers are wealthy and are highly protected.

The Hunters

Meat is a common diet for dwarves, and most certainly a favorite within the race. The demand is high, if not needed amongst the race's diet. While produce is also in the dwarven diet, its often a substitute for meat. Hunters provide this meat diet, usually lumberjacks will take this role, when they spot animals within the forests. Hunters usually hunt daily or on The Grand Harvest.

Reading the Notice upon the Board, the Elf frowned as he saw no opening for Lumber, but he knew he was going to comment on it, anyways. So, taking a sliver of coal from his satchel, he took a sheet of finely crafted wood pulp and nailed it under.

"I, Damen, Resident of the Irongut District, have noticed that this only calls for mining. Do the gods not require their followers to gather anything but Stone and materials of the ground? I ask this, because I was just allowed access to the Lumbermill by Hiebe, and am wondering if it is even needed right now.

If wood is not needed, I am willing to try my hand at any other jobs that be needed."
