Clan Announcement

Passing through the archway into the Grandaxe District of Kal'Karik, you make out a fresh parchment nailed against the notice board. Written across it in black ink reads...

"Dwarves of the Grandaxe Clan, in light of Bazian's recent departure and resignation as leader of the clan, I have called forth a meeting of all clansmen. This meeting is to be held within the newly built clan hall, located within the Grandaxe District of Kal'Karik."

"Here, we will drink, feast and discuss issues of importance, as well as perform any rites of passage upon the younger members of the clan. The meeting is to be held in three months time so with ample warning, all Grandaxes are expected to be present."

The parchment is signed at the bottom with an intricately scribed signature.

"- Valen Grandaxe, Consular of the Kingdom of Urguan and Lord of the Grandaxe Clan."

((The meeting will be held on Friday, at 5PM EST. If anybody will have trouble attending or wishes for a time change, please let me know before Friday.))

Short Biography: Reklu grew up in a great home. His father taught him how to use weapons, and use them well. He became very skiled in the battleaxe, wielding it with precision and accuracy. When he was just yet still a youngster he left home, sea bound. He used his time on the ocean to learn about the ways of the humans and elves. On this adventure he made some great friends and some grave enemies. While aboard he met a human who led a mercenary group in the northern woods. After years fighting with this group he became a hardened dwarf. Finally, he decided to return home to his father in Kal'Karik. Now, to start a new chapter of his life.

The role you expect to take in the clan: I am expecting to take the role of Valen Grandaxe's son. Also, I would taking the role of a guard in Karik.

Appearance: Long red beard split into pigtails clad in traditional armor

Short Biography: Maletone is a great miner and a sturdy built man his family comes from mount ire. He killed a person when he was 25 years old he killed an assassin who ha made a recent string of murders. About 5 years later he fought in a Great War the dwarves vs the elves. A dwarf killed his whole camp and he was framed. He was sent to jail for life to rot away but he escaped to find revenge and gain honour to his name. He also seeks a item he believes to be real it is called the purple diamond! Thought to be the best material in Asulon.

The role you expect to take in the clan: I would expect to be a blacksmith,miner and a ranger I'm very handy with a bow.

((As you're a new player, I'm thinking it better if you attempt to join the commoner clan beneath us, the Edgehands, just so that you can get used to dwarven RP before attempting to role play as a dwarven noble. Therefore, I'm going to heavily limit anybody being accepted so if anybody else wishes to apply, you will have to put extra effort into your application.))

"It is up to we, the elders of the clan, Skath, Longbeard, Bazian, Arcane and I to seek out a dwarf worthy for the title of Lord. You will be required to represent the clan, within the Court, passing judgements on those deemed dishonourable. Prove yourself to us and you will have a chance of taking upon this position."

The Grandaxe Clan section was silent. The torches flickered on the walls in the middle of the night. Dwarves were sleeping, only the occasional banging of anvils, or mining of stone had echoes through the district. Arcane stepped into the district, with four scrolls in his hand. His diamond plated armor shined in the torchlight and took the left passage heading towards his home. He kept walking past his home up to the doors of Valen Grandaxe. There he posted one of the scrolls on the doorway. The flier read:

"To the Elders of the Grandaxe Clan."

A meeting is soon upon us. A new clan lord must be chosen. The Elders will meet in the Clan Hall, and discuss this matter. The new Clanlord will be decided upon soon. We gather soon.

Arcane Grandaxe

Arcane walked back down the steps to the homes of the other elders; Longbeard, Bazian, and Skath. After all of the scrolls were on the doors he head to his own home, and slowly fell asleep.

Hail lads, i be Uzgul son of Longbeard, the oldest of Longbeards kids. i have lived all my life in soltitude after me mother died back in aegis.
